If you sell your main man to MK I’d have to disagree I’m afraid.

Don't be afraid. Don't get me wrong I don't want it to happen cos he's a class player who should be playing a level up but to suggest our owners aren't ambitious because of that potential one sale is stretching it based on all the evidence.

They paid six figures plus Grant for Nemane who was also out of contract next summer, and Crowley is a far better player. Seem to be absolutely throwing money around though, so can easily see them offering something we can’t refuse.
Makes sense, but I hope that number would be pretty high as I think losing Crowley would be a massive blow for any hopes of promotion this season.

I’m not basing that off one sale though, you’ve replaced the best manager you’ve had in years with a part time electrician, your best goalscorer in years still yet to be replaced (might still happen yet of course), and now there’s talk of your best remaining player Crowley being sold to direct rivals in L2. So if that happens, then I would say that’s a lack of ambition in my eyes and I’m sure many others too incl Notts fans.

It’s bollocks I reckon. Twitter/Facebook shite. It’s a theme with our ownership. Let it be known we’re after players to get the fans excited then announce we offered a great deal but couldn’t compete . . . Blah, blah, blah.

We’ve had it with Kemp, Jack Payne etc.
Jake Young doesn't even make our bench today, so he's off somewhere next week you would imagine

Including Notts fans?

We had to replace the head coach/manager we've had in years because he was headhunted by a Championship club. Great recruitment by the club.

Our best goalscorer in years again was snapped up by a a championship club for a hefty fee. Again great recruitment by the club.

Not sure anyone can replace a player that Langstaff fella who scored so many goals. But we paid six figures for our a Gambian Prince who although early days sure is looking like a good signing.

So that's those covered.

If Crowley goes then he will be hard to replace but we thought the same when Rodrigues left (remember him?) and we replaced him with yup you guessed it Crowley. More.impressive recruiting from the club.

Ask your Notts fans you know what the club has spent on the stadium , pitch and surround since arriving. If they still say not ambitious then why would they invest millions ?

Lack of ambition this season if Crowley sold for sure, beyond that nope not for me. In fact I hold the opposite view.

This is the sort of ignorant nonsense I’d expect from a Chesterfield fan.

Everyone knows he was a full time BT engineer.

Barnsley and Wigan join Crawley and Stevenage in the hunt for Jake Young according to Nixon.

The more you read guys like him and Pete O'Rourke, the more you realise they are just repeating whatever agents are telling them.

We replaced Langstaff in January to be fair with Jatta, who cost £100k or something and is rattling along with seven goals in ten games. Whatever else is going on, we are consistently brilliant at finding and developing goalscorers the last few years.

Oh and as much as I like Crowley, Jones is definitely our best remaining player. Was our best player anyway really.

Supposed to be announcing a striker from a League one club today.

He could have probably played on for another year or two, but I'm sure I saw something about him a successful business outside of football, so might be focusing on that. Either way, thank god he won't be knocking in goals against us this season, our defence is bad enough as it is.

Adam Wilson (Bradford City) has gone (back) to TNS for the season.

I still think there’s a decent player in there somewhere, but he’s constantly played out of position.

He’s a winger - we don’t play with wingers. It’s that simple.

If that’s his City career finished, at least he scored a corker against Wrexham last season.

Could be Tom Nichols.
Possibly mate rumour was one loan one permanent this week we've had Reyes Cleary on loan so assume the next one is a permanent if the rumours are right has he been made available then?

That would go against it being Nichols, Clough said he’s had three/four enquiries about him but mentioned a loan I believe.

I hope we don’t sell Swan, just like last season he is struggling for confidence again but once he finds it his goal to minute ratio is superb. At the same time, I think Lee Gregory and Will Evans are our first choice at the minute, and they look lethal with DKD behind them.

Nicholls is a fringe player for you now isn't he? Be interesting to see if he plays tonight.
