Jasper Moon has signed a season long loan from Burton Albion. I've no ideas what he is like but we badly need a strong defender, (almost as much as we need a striker)

Weird, turned a new contract down with us only to end up back in Lesgue 2

What type of midfielder is he? We’re crying out for a number 8 type. I’m looking at his goal record last season and have a little bit of hope.

Looks like the owners said something they actually mean, we aren't going to pay over the odds.

Edit: Would be funny if we just get him on a free next year though.

Not sure he’ll want to drop down a level

Quite sad to see Gillead go, almost impossible to replace his effort but he’d become too much of a gap filler when others were injured, Jack of all trades master of none, hope he does well at Shrewsbury.

MK ran out of money already?
Due to the structure and completion date of the deal, the new owners don’t actually take full control of the finances until 1st September apparently…

Luka Ashby-Hammond on loan to Gillingham. He's been with a few clubs (Crawley when L2, Notts County). he played a lot of matches for Aldershot, but to be fair, 2 years can be a long time for a young goalie.

So my question is, I guess mostly for Notts County fans, is he rubbish?
He was the best of a bad bunch for us but that's a low bar.

Don't give it that fancy fat cat lip wiggling, you gonna give County their money or not?

MK Dons getting thrown around like a rag doll by Stevenage and Burton Albion.

Did the takeover go through in the end or is Winkleman still running the show?

Takeover is all done, it was so quiet that the fit and proper tests went on unannounced in June/July, Scum mentioned the initial plan above but I think things have changed.

We just aren’t being stupid, the new owners have vast football experience albeit in Kuwait and the Asian federation. We have a good squad we just need one or two to bolster that while the majority of the work needs to be behind the scenes.

Someone on Twitter (refuse to call it X) implying MK Dons are now looking at Jake Young.

Couldn’t care less where he goes. I just want rid!

I saw that, really not sure how true because it's not an account I'd tend to believe automatically.

We are interested in a striker on loan though according to our own journo. I'm wondering if he's mixed Joe White up as a striker though.

The other gills fan said on the other thread your keeper was out for 6 weeks so I just went off that assumption
Turner appears to be out injured yes, but Glenn Morris is a more than capable deputy and I'd expect him to start while Turner isn't available. Our youth team option is out on loan himself so we just needed a back up.

He came described as a box to box midfielder, for the most of the time with us he was shite but when we went on the run toward the play offs he started to show us how good he could be and we certainly missed him in the second leg against Crewe. Depends which version you get.

How would you describe your mood on hearing the news.

League 2 bad boys era confirmed.

Sort of player we needed, comes with baggage obviously but strictly football speaking, it could be a great signing if he’s the Exeter version of Jevani Brown

Don’t love it, but got to believe in second chances etc and we’ve had people who’ve done worse let’s be honest.

Kind of realised I had to park my morals at the door during Hughesy-mania (within reason of course *cough* Ch*d E**ns).

Yeah, I don't look back at Hughes' time here with any fondness really. If we can avoid turning Brown into a cult hero (even if his crimes are clearly not on the same level) that'd be preferable.
