Looks like Blair Adams is coming back to us
He's been an absolute disaster since he came back, zero chance of us offering him a new deal.
Apparently Reuben Reid won't be at Plymouth next season has had a better offer to sign for another club sorry I don't know which team
He's just the type of player we need.I would have him here in a heart beat providing those over weight rumours weren't true
He's had some injury problems as well this season. At best that would be a sideways move for Reid that could only be money motivated which would concern me a bit.
Apparently, we're interested in Cambridge's Luke Berry.
Never heard of him. Any good?
Swindon fan? He'd be a good signing for you, unfortunately I can't see it happening. He's on good money here, the main man, and he's had a bad experience of moving away from us before.Apparently, we're interested in Cambridge's Luke Berry.

It was a done deal almost in January, he wanted to be here but had no choice on the matter. Must have had some sort of psychological effect on him as he is definitely a decent L2 player. He's been an absolute disaster since he came back, zero chance of us offering him a new deal.

We would appear to be signing Joe McKee from Morton according to their fans. Not a fucking clue who he is like.
I asked this about a year ago and didn't find out... but why do Cambridge United have so much money these days?Swindon fan? He'd be a good signing for you, unfortunately I can't see it happening. He's on good money here, the main man, and he's had a bad experience of moving away from us before.
Because of all the money they made on their FA Cup run in 14-15. The games they won, the home game against Man U, the replay against Man U at OT. Raked in a shed load I believe.
As far as the ManUre money goes, we "spent" or have in the current account about £400-500k of it and have/will invest about £800-900k.
Finances
The key financial headline: Operating profit was £1.30m before tax, having been a loss of just under £125k the year before.
Turnover for the year to 30 June 15 was £5.73m, up from £2.41m the year before.
The £1.3m pretty much equates to the FA Cup money from last season. Without this the club would have virtually been at an operational break-even for the year.
Of this, a third is being put towards correcting the historic cash flow deficit, namely the fact that there's no income during the summer. A third is for capital investment, ie the changing rooms, Dublin Suite, training ground, dugouts, floodlights, pitch drainage, catering. A third has been locked away for doing up the Habbin when the time comes.
The ManUre money set us on the road. Our landlords are giving us a good deal on the rent (major reductions) in the hope that our support will deliver their money making "Sporting Village" in leafy Trumpington. Our attendances (Av up to 5,273 this season, without any decent cup matches) and much increased corporate income now underpin it. Our youth and community activity generates a surplus and covers some o'heads. However, it will probably all go into reverse if our landlords don't get their Sporting Village and we are stuck with an unimproved Abbey Stadium and significantly increased rent.I asked this about a year ago and didn't find out... but why do Cambridge United have so much money these days?
Higher attendances, corporate entertainment, sponsorship and TV money for next year covers most of it. There are extra costs of full-time staff taking over roles from volunteers but I guess we've confirmed that we were a sleeping quite big person in the Conference. We averaged 3,085 supporters (2,815 home, 270 visitors) for our last season in the Conference and probably budgeted for less than 4,000 this time - hence tight playing budget.
With thanks to Nick Pomery - Cambridge United attendance stats for 2014/15:
Home League average 5,108
Total home League attendance 117,474
Highest home League attendance 7,109 v Burton Albion, May 2nd
Lowest home League attendance 3,152 v Morecambe, August 23rd
Average number of visitors 623
Highest number of visitors 2,003 v Luton Tn, September 20th
Lowest number of visitors 59 v Accrington Stanley, April 11th
Cambridge ranked 8th in terms of home attendances, just behind Tranmere R - 5,140 - and well in front of ninth ranked Northampton Tn - 4,599.
Top ranked were Portsmouth - 17,558, and bottom were Accrington - 1,478. The average attendance in the division was 4,677 and total attendance 2,581,521, up 343 and 189,312 respectively on League 2 2013/14.
Who are your four very very good centre backs?Apparently we're close to signing Andrew Boyce after his release from Scunny, seemed an inevitable one when their retained list came out given the loan spells he had here. Looked a class act in non league and a good solid signing.
4 centre backs mind and 4 very very good ones at that, wouldn't be surprised to see one depart.
