It just means you've really overpaid him. Congrats.

If we are going on the following on twitter line, Newcastle's Adam Campbell followed us on twitter then, after people spoke of it on our forum, he unfollowed within a matter of hours...
He played for us the season before last. He's shit and he has a bad attitude apparently.

ha, bitter....about Barry Corr when we've already got a much better targetman. No thankyou. Nice try.

Just logic innit, rather than pay inflated wages for 30 year old Barry fucking Corr, I'd rather my club used the money on a fee for a decent youngster with resale value, it's how lower league teams should be run.

Christ, League 1 was bad enough for this shite, now we get willy-waving over Barry Corr. Welcome to League 2 indeed.

Of course you want to make a profit on a young player but football is a results business and I'm sure your aim is to return to League one. Judging by the fact you only scored 45 goals all season and got relegated, you will need to keep hold of the one player who scored more than 4 goals all season whilst signing another striker.

You need a target man to go with Marc Richards. Him and Ivan Toney are very similar players. Don't deny you would take Barry Corr.

They aren't similar! And I wouldn't because he'd want to start and he wouldn't over Rico. We could use him as a back up though if you don't mind sending him over.

I think it's defenders and midfielders you need - I mean, christ, even we done the double over you last season.

I just can't get into these discussions. I want to get emotionally involved, but I can't mainly cos I don't really know any of these 'big' signings. Bingham?? No idea, small market town near Nottingham. Corr? Saw him a bit on TV in the play offs and know of him, effective but I've seen that sort of player many times, ten a penny. Nowt special, although he seems to be highly rated down in L2.

Saying all that, boy do we need one quality forward at this level coming in. We've got 'the animal' Jimmy Spencer but f**k all alongside him. Bajner? Murray? Hmmmm. Us not replacing 'the animal' last season when the club knew he was out all season was poor, beyond belief. We knew how key he was in our great escape season the year before, so needed to go big to save the season, instead we signed 412 players who were collectively dump. Poor Notts, poor.

Sam Parkin, Rowan Vine, Jonathan Fortune, Danny Coles, Sean Canham, Matt Witchelow etc ?

All truly terrible players, but they were terrible just because they were not very good footballers, that is a forgivable crime. Corr was willfully just acting like a complete c*** all season. Half the season sitting at home suspended while stealing a wage was frankly disgusting.

Big signing for Cambridge. Must of offered him good money considering we offered him a 2 year deal. I am not sure he would cut it in league 1 but I am truly gutted he's left, a fans favourite and we now have 0 strikers.

He has been quoted in the Southend Echo about why he wanted to leave. Said that the manager (Cambridge) plays two up front with two wingers.

Sounds like he doesn't like Brown's playing style and how he uses him. Shame. Another season or two and he could be a real club legend. 63 goals in 183 games for us.

I wouldn't say he's shit, he barely played for us under Abbott so I couldn't really give a fair assessment. He's bound to have something about him to have been on the books at Newcastle, and I think he'd be a good signing for most teams in this league.

I don't know, you do get some shite slipping through the net at these Premier League clubs. They have so much money they can just chuck pro contracts around for fun, hoping that if they throw enough shit at the wall some of it will stick.

He's had numerous loan spells in the football league and has done fuck all in each of them.

Yeah, he's done nothing since his Rovers days and looks injury prone. I would obviously give him a chance but it's not a signing which is likely to get anyone excited.

Depends on the deal . I'm sure there's still a player in there . Pay as you play or a short term deal is probably worth a punt .

You have all been issued warning points. Sir Jimmy of Spencer will see you all next season.
