Also a fair number of rumours that our captain Moore-Taylor is off this month, with Middlesbrough being one team mentioned.

He’d be a huge loss to us, especially with Troy Brown being out for another month at least. He can walk for free in the summer so gues the club may want to cash in now, but as we really don’t need the money, I hope it’s not true.

Us and Wycombe linked to Bristol Rovers left back, Lee Brown according to some Twitter site.

It wouldn’t surprise me as we’re crying out for a left back as we only have Dean Moxey, Craig Woodman plus Moore-Taylor who can play there. A real priority.
Why would we be getting rid of a fullback who basically plays in every game? Unless there is someone at your club we want ?

FGR fans, you know how you have a bit of a problem at the minute with indiscipline?

Well it's about to get a whole lot worse......:box: :box:

Actually thinking about Gunning he did elbow Danny Wright in the head, so I suppose for that he should be given the freedom of the borough.

I like him already. Sounds a top lad.

We're trying to sign 2 keepers, Dillon Phillips from Charlton and Tom King from Millwall, possibly both on loan although we would apparently prefer Phillips on a perm.

That probably means both Collins and Russell are off.

So far this window

Confirmed ins - Dayle Grubb AM (WSM), Alex Whittle LB (York)
Rumoured ins - Dillon Phillips GK (Charlton), Tom King GK (Millwall), Gavin Gunning CB/LB (Port Vale), Mark Ellis CB (Carlisle), Jamal Campbell-Ryce W (Barnet), Reuben Reid ST (Exeter);

Confirmed outs - Will Randall W (sent back to Wolves); Toni Gomes AM (sent back to Liverpool), Alex Iacovitti CB (gone back to Forest) Jack Fitzwater CB (gone back to WBA),
Rumoured outs - Brad Collins GK; Sam Russell GK, Mark Roberts CB, Callum Evans RB, Charlie Cooper CM; Omar Bugiel AM/ST Shamir Mullings ST,

Gonna be a busy window.

Huge turnover of players that when in a struggle that could be even worse (as we’ve found out in recent years)

That is absolutely the first time I’ve heard of Campbell-Ryce leaving us for you and not for that reason alone does it not make any sense. Why would we sell someone who has played the majority of our matches this season to a direct rival in our battle to stay in this division. Surely McGhee is not that deluded?!

Depends how much we offer I suppose? He is 34 after all.

I did also say that it's a rumour, and us being interested in him doesn't mean you'll definitely sell. As with our other rumoured targets, not all will come and there are probably other options for that position we might go for as well.

We'll be bringing in a lot of players, hoping to have 6 new signings (inc the 2 already announced) confirmed by Saturday.. .

Not ideal at all, but seems we're looking at what Newport did last season and hoping a January rebuild can see us safe.

Indeed, it must be a nonesense rumour. He’s obviously a decent player so can’t imagine he would drop a league. Plus, as I said, we really don’t need him at present.

Scunthorpe being linked with a 100k bid for Yates. I'd like to think if that's true we'd match it. Easily worth that if we offered that to Noble

Doubt Forest will even give that much thought, would be a bit worried if he was out of contract in the summer but as they’ve got him tied down they may as well leave him here to let his value go up and have a proper look at him in the summer.

Not to mention that they don’t even have a manager or director of football at the minute.

HITC Sports are reporting Whitfield has agreed now to extend his loan with Vale until the end of the season. If true its massive for us.

Looks like Tyler Denton gone back to Leeds. Shame that, quite rated him but good to trim this bloated squad down. Ridiculous how many loan players we had.

As they have a sell on clause, I assume, I thought any Swindon fans left on here might be interested in this. :bl:

Would have been interested if they had said yes. But as they’ve turned it down it doesn’t matter. Personally, I’d bite their hand off for that. If you do get to the PL he’ll need replacing.

Can’t believe they have turned that kind of cash down for Flint. A very good defender but Christ that’s a lot for a head it kick it center back

Nobody’s really sure, tbh. Be a tidy sum for sure if true.

We don’t have a great track record on player sales

He's a bit more than that nowadays but I do take your point.

Just shy of a couple of £Million if it's 15% of the profit. Wasn't it £350K we paid and we thought you had us over? :ffs:

On a par with flogging Matt Ritchie to Bornmuff for £400,000, and Charlie Austin for £1m.

We ain’t got anybody worth a pound of pig shit at the mo

I think I'm in a minority of fans who would not mind JCR leaving. His workrate and technical ability is not in dispute, but his decision making in the final third is generally horrible and costs us so many goals.

If we can get money for him to buy a new CB or more prolific winger then I'd be happy.

Sadly I don't trust McGhee's judgement on incomings.

Maguire-Drew apparently coming on loan to us, any Lincoln fans got an opinion on him?

No-where near Jodi Jones level, if that's who he'll be replacing. Probably more suited to you than us in terms of the style of play, but having said that he was physically well short IMO. Too easily eased off the ball and his lack of work rate stood out. Seemed reluctant to fit into the way we have our wingers, which is bombing up and down the wing all game. Happy to run forward, but not back - the definition of a luxury player.

Obviously got 'something' given his form last season at Dagenham, but questionable whether he's FL level at the minute. I genuinely thought he'd end up back at Dagenham or at a southern based NL club.

As I say, though, more likely to succeed at your place, if at all, than ours.

JMD was the stand out player for me in the pre season with regards to exciting signings. Sadly he was a very pale shadow of what we saw when he went on loan to Dagenham in the FL. As Luke says, he obviously has talent and he does have good feet, but we saw little overall in his time at SB so it will be interesting to see how he does at Coventry.

Scored a cracking free kick v Everton youngsters in the checkatrade but did very little else.
Just didn't suit bit lightweight and didn't really trackback.
As others must have something as he got 15 goals for Dagenham.
Hearing he doesn't like to follow training plans...

Colchester have signed Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe and Ryan Gondoh from Maldon & Tiptree.

Ogedi-Uzokwe has scored 34 goals in 34 games. We released Gondoh a couple of years ago. He didn't impress when I saw him in U23 and county cup games - strange to see him make the move up.
