Max Muller has extended his loan from us to Morecambe until the end of the season, great news as he has the turning circle of a massively obese old woman, must mean we've got someone coming in who is a central defender even if it's on loan until our other defenders are fit again.

We've signed Zavon Hines from Maidstone & Sid Nelson from Milwall.

Expect we will let a few go and get a few more in in the coming weeks. Jack's first transfer window and expet him to be ruthless with some of the crap that Gary Caldwell signed.

Know little about Nelson but sounds like he is a bit of a nutter but is well thought of, Hines seems to have done the rounds a bit but havign a decent season at Maidstone. Weve literally had no wingers all season so definitely will be better than what we have.

The squad turnaround starts.

Drew Talbot in, a few others strongly rumoured just waiting to be confirmed.
Jay Smith out.

I expect to see a fair few more out and in before the end of the window, especially if takeover actually happens. I believe Dave Allen has made funds available in case it doesn't anyway. Jack should have a chance to balance the squad out a bit and make improvements.

We'll probably end up sacking him next Christmas when we're lower mid-table in League One knowing our luck with long contracts in the past.

Jones had a few things to say about transfers in his press conference today. Sound like we'll be shipping a few out this window for sure. I'm thinking at least two of Cook, Gambin and D'Ath will be heading out as they aren't getting nearly enough game time.

Signed Jared Bird on loan from Barnsley, seems to be a defensive midfielder who can fill other potions if needed which is handy given our lack of players at the moment.

If the Welsh national team could join the league pyramid I’d have both Oldham and Rochdale above them.

Rob Dickie joins Oxford, prior to his loan ending here, so that leaves us with one CB.

Not surprised there was interest in him, though. Been in and out the side but a very good, young defender. That's a Championship CB and L1 CB we now have to try and replace...

We've signed Gavin Gunning and Farrend Rawson very happy with this exactly what we need!

Just in time for gunning to score a last minute winner against Port Vale Saturday.

As likely to get sent off to be honest! Was decent for us but poor reviews from other clubs so see which Mad Gav you get!

He's been decent for you this season though? That instantly makes him better most of the rest of our defence.

And we needed a few more hard bastards.

He has done a job, been a cult hero to a degree. He’s replaceable as we’ve played him out of position whereas Ben Whitfield isn’t (who should sign for Saturday) so he was the priority.

He’s nuts but does a job, nothing stand out but when in the mess as we were and you currently are he won’t mess about, although if you still ping the ball out from your keeper along the back line and try and play your way out from the back still that might not be best suited to his game.

In the most pointless signing ever, we have resigned goalkeeper Paul Jones on loan from Norwich. Why waste a wage unless Pym is off.

But at least Tisdale is a step closer to reassembling our 2009 squad. That’s now Jones, Archibald-Henville, Seaborne, Harley, Moxey from our L2 promotion in 09 that he’s brought back. I’m expecting Richard Logan and Matt Gill to sign on before the end of the month.

Chesterfield are busy, keeper Aaron Ramsdale our 3rd choice is going there on loan hopefully for some game time. 19 so on the young side for a keeper, regular in England youth squads.

Gonna be a terrible signing then!

If ever a player had an apt name to play for Millwall it is Sid Nelson, just the sound of him screams lunatic !!!

Nelson has been on loan with us for the season so far. Started well then broke his nose and didn't get a game after that even when his beak was fixed. Strange, not sure what happened there.

Looks like former Notts keeper Bart Bialkowski is going to move from Ipswich to Palace for £4-5m.

No one really seems sure whether we have a sell on clause or not. Couple of people at our end seem to think not, but people at the Ipswich end think we do. Be lovely even if it’s only 10%, potential little bonus to help with our striker fund.

McCarthy at the time said there was no fee - but there were sell-on and promotion clauses.

Knowing Notts, we probably gave it up to sign Balint Bajner.

Letting the best goalkeeper in League One leave on a free transfer was a pretty interesting move in itself.

Bartosz is a great keeper, I'm surprised its taken this long for him to make a move into the premier league.

If it helps us put a cheeky offer in for a Jorge Grant or a Ryan Yates, or a striker I'd be very happy.

Not seen any rumours other than Ricky Miller and I think that's just based on the fact we were previously interested. Nolan has said he wont go back to those who rejected us previously but I am not so sure he really means that

Sid is a good lad and helped keep us up last season. Popular with the fans as gets stuck in but a bit lightweight.

Ben Whitfield deal now confirmed as a loan until the end of the season.

Huge Huge boost... buzzing at that as he has been and is a level above. Hopefully can kick on now as I expected he would be gone.

The players going there all seem young and/or untested.
