Oswell signs on a 2 year deal, dare I say we have spends?

I used to watch Sgorio and he'd score every week when it was on, hopefully he can replicate that at this level.

Spends? You signed him for nothing and there’s no way he’s good enough for league 2.

Does anybody know who this is?
As it looks like he’s training with us.

‘ExAgent’ has got stuff wrong too, so don’t take it as certain obviously.

Tyler Walker was training with the team yesterday so I can only assume it’s due to be announced today.

Khan wanting a move further north is supposed to be helping our efforts to bring him in.

Sorry Morecambe, that is not a decent signing. If he scores more than 10 I will be stunned.
With regard to Oswell i know absolutely nothing about the lad. We were very heavily linked locally. I was surprised when his suitors included Chester, Wrexham and Hartlepool. Not fussed either way that we ' missed out ' as we already bought a chancer in permanently from Redditch.
Good luck to the lad but Sam has seen him so that'll do for me !!

10 is a decent enough return for most strikers at bottom half sides.

Toni Kroos?
I’d be reluctant to sign him as with Germany’s imminent deep run at the World Cup he wouldn’t get much time pre season training with us to gel with his new team mates.
I didn't get time to check the scores yesterday but I presume already eliminated South Korea would've posed no problems to the German efficient machine?

Wasn't a bid made by Bristol Rovers for Khan a few months ago ?
Every time we played Yeovil he stood out from everyone else , although that wasn't hard in our case.
Looks too good for this division but as ever money talks so maybe some mileage in this Mansfield news

I always take Geographical reasons with a pinch of salt after Mark Marshall left us to move nearer to London.....he signed for Bradford :bl:

Just announced the signings of Idris Kanu and Theo Vassell
Not sure on Kanu, surely no better than Turner and probably less experience. Time will tell but at 18 it is a strange signing on loan.

Vassell is a right back which we needed cover for, will have to be decent to unseat Gibbons but cover we needed in that area, and allows Gibbo to go Left Back if Monty is out for any reason. Seem to be padding out the squad now we've pretty much sorted the starting XI.

Our pre-season training started on Monday and today our serious transfer business seems to be complete. Our second new face is Reggie Lambe. As trailed, he renews his relationship with Jabo. The only other new face is Louis John, who signed from Sutton back in May.

We expect to see a bit more of our youngsters in the cups and on the bench. Barry Corr has a new deal combining coaching with off the bench goal scoring records and George Taft has finally settled in for the long haul after 3 loan debuts.

Nice to see that Piero Mingoia has found a "new" home at Accrington and looking forward to seeing Leon Legge at Vale in our opening game.

Otherwise our squad development business has been largely about trimming the budget a bit then lets see what we can do with these guys in the absence of the Dead Hand of Derry. With no direct replacement for Uche, we're expecting a lot from Jabo, Barry Corr and some folk like Ade Azeez or Jevani Brown.

Just hope Brown and Maris are still with us in September.

We’ve signed Reggie Lambe after his release by Carlisle. Thoughts Cumbrians?

Do you think you'll keep Paul Lewis?

We're probably at a one-in-one-out stage (loans or transfers) with a few of our midfield options and Azeez. If he stays, he's unlikely to get much game time but I suspect we'll persist with him at least until January. He might get a loan out as the season gets going but that would mean Vanarama rather than a return to Moss Rose.

If he/you pushed for a move, I doubt there would be much resistance.

Plenty of skill and decent scoring record for a winger; doesn't necessarily offer enough besides his goal threat though, often just picks the wrong pass or gets run out of play. He'll have games where he looks completely unplayable and you think he should be starting every week but then others where he goes missing. Was better last season though, so maybe he can rediscover that form alongside Jabo.

Apparently were after Keith Lowe from Macclesfield. A centre back is the last thing we need really, although its probably an indication that we will be playing three at the back.
