We’ve signed Nicky Law ex Bradford I believe. Any good?

Sadly not Mackie but maybe tomorrow!

Feel like that's a really good signing for us.

Genuine quality in the middle of the pitch.

I don't think Nicky Law is a very good signing at all.

I mean he's in his mid 50s and he looks pretty unfit to me.....

I'm surprised you can find any actual signings in the midst of the amount of horse shit in this thread!

Generally if you learn to ignore Grimsby, Lincoln and some Notts fans then can make some sense of the threads!

But yes, you make a good point!

Alzate a number 10 midfielder and well thought of by Orient fans. That was when he was 17, so hopefully Brighton have developed him into a class act. Looking forward to seeing what he can do!

Unless we sign Neymar we won’t make a ripple in this thread!

Like most others I've seen plenty of youngsters come through our academy down the years, but he easily had the best natural talent I've seen. His touch, control, movement, skill and weight of pass all superb for an 18 year old.

He made his debut for us in Febraury 2017 away at Stevenage, scored the following Saturday on his full debut in a 4-0 win at Newport and was sold to Brighton 13 games and 3 months later if I recall, 2 weeks before we was due to start our season for around £300k I think. We was all gutted, he could've made one hell of an impact in the National League. Rumour has it we sold him because our previous owner owned part of his contract, but that could be nonsense.

He can play as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing, in the short time he played for us he would glide past players with his skill and pace, he left a few of them on the arses eating mud alot of the time.

Like most youngsters though, very lightweight and a few opponents had to resort to kicking him a few times.

I will be curious to see how he does for you, because he should go on to have a very good career based on what I saw from him.

I’m sorry, but if your comment isn’t about Lincoln/Notts/Mansfield signings nobody gives a rats arse

Adam Collin is training with us.

I thought he was pretty shit when we last had him, but to be fair he was younger and it was in the league above.

Lewis Walters (Just left Forest) also in training this morning.

Collin is fine, had a decent season for us. Think he was only released because he was on bigger wages than he could justify and we want to blood Fitzsimons who is a really exciting prospect.

He’s right you know. Mainly cos certain areas/counties in the country just don’t seem like footballing places to me, isolated. The teams are usually signing players that I’ve never heard of or have connection to. Above all these clubs have hardly any active posters, it’s like each club has a sole representative.

Totally agree. A more than decent signing for Carlisle, not sure on the wage difference (but I’m sure an Imp or Stag on here can take a guess) but definitely a good saving each way to be spent on one of our 6 figure strikers huge wage demands

You make up for any clubs that don't have any active posters in this division. Do you ever speak to your Mrs?

Northern Ireland international left back Rory McKeown is on trial, seemed to have a half decent career in Scotland then came to England and found it hard to break through so worth a look as back up to Monty.

Anyone know who this is? Not much to go on unfortunately...

First thought was Ameobi but I haven't seen enough of him.

He’s an absolute fucking Rolls Royce of a player. He’ll end up having the shit kicked out of him every game because it’s the only way the cloggers will be able to stop him. He just glides past players and is simply a pleasure to watch. You’re going to love him.
