£150k was the fee mentioned, I think? That was the one I was working off. But the ins and outs and Notts County isn't my Forte (that joke would've worked last season).

You “think” £150K was the fee “mentioned” lol, hardly concrete info then to base your earlier comment on.

Never change ‘onefootballforum’ , never change :ffs:

I still like the play on words joke.

I would be happy with Boldewijn. Pretty quick, tricky type player that we didn’t have last season and should also replace a chunk of Grant’s goals from out wide.

Seems to be the player we need. The amount of times we broke out with Grant only for it to fall down due to lack of pace, we could have had quite a few goals

Khan would have been £100k as that was his release clause.

I think that’s a good price, maybe someone we can make a profit on.

Looks like two different sides to the Akinde fee then, personally find it hard to believe Barnet taking under £200k upfront.

I think County paid more than £150k for Dennis, quite frankly. I’ll ask some of my non-league friends who could potentially know.

By Leigh Curtis, who's probably pretty ITK about all Notts stuff seen as he covers you. That's good enough for me.

Seems a bit low that’s all, Chesterfield usually drive a hard bargain too under Allen.

Curtis is pretty good but nobody gets everything right.

£150k is the price that has been constantly bandied about.

As for Boldewijn, looks fast enough for me on his highlights reel. Plus I've known some players at Notts who have been like s*** off a shovel, but have nothing else to their game. Seems a pretty decent signing at this level, if it happens.

Agree with that, not trying to windup the Lincoln fans here either but I genuinely think Dennis was more than 150k. Wasn't it announced as a "substantial" or "significant" undisclosed fee or something?

Not entirely sure why any fans would get wound up over a fee, unless the club couldn’t afford it and it could be detrimental (I.e unsustainable spending).

3 years ago we didn’t have a pot to piss in. Now we’re pissing golden pots. I like not being poor.

If Tutte gets a run of games without picking up an injury he will be a good signing. Wholehearted lad, wish him all the best.
Same here - occasionally stuck his lower lip out when dropped, subbed or played wide at Dale, but always put a shift in on the pitch.

I would be surprised if it was any more than £150k, think that’s likely the potential total as well rather than straight upfront.

The bid they accepted in January from Bradford was reported to be £175k and I don’t think that his price will have gone up in a summer window after they’d been relegated with more pressure to sell.

11 games for Macc and zero goals. I hope its just a trial, because thats very uninspiring.
Definitely avoid. Attitude not good enough. He often turned up late to training and eventually stopped coming at all. Plus he doesn't speak a word of English so the rest of your squad would need to be bilingual.

Amen to that. This forum and you in particular are prime examples, a combination of guess work and pure estimation

Is on trial but with a poor attitude he will last a day or two under Aspin!

Depends if he wants a quick sale before he sods off.

But I’m sure they accepted a similar bid for him in January, didn’t see anything of note from in him in either game against us but must have something to get that many goals in a poor side.

I think with 6300 season tickets sold and plenty of FA Cup and Checkatrade cash in the bank it's a fairly conservative shit or bust campaign. Cowley seems very tight for an Essex lad and appears to treat the club's money like it's his own.

Nobody knows clearly. We have apparents, I heard, maybe, if, a local rag journalist reported, an ex agent Twitter, Conks guesstimates, and now pure guess work.

I say, who cares, it’s not my money. I’m just bothered about player ability on display at my club. Shame I won’t get to judge them too often for myself, will have to rely on select reliable Notts fans on here

And don’t forget what ‘appears’ to be an excellent medical team.

Adam Collin is training with us.

I thought he was pretty shit when we last had him, but to be fair he was younger and it was in the league above.

Lewis Walters (Just left Forest) also in training this morning.

Get out his arse.

People are higher in the hierarchy at Lincoln that have to finalise deals.

Anybody know any of the players circled? I know the rest- circled ones are triallists I think. The one of the far left circled is Kelleher actually I think.

He's an alright goalie. No command of his box and loves to parry it into the path of an oncoming striker. If his £3k a week at Notts was true, we were paying way too much!

We’ve signed Steven Alzate. Season long loan from Brighton. Young midfielder who nobody knows anything about!

We’re announcing a signing at 5pm. Whoever it is has a double sleeve of tattoos so that narrows it down to any one of 50000 footballers.

People are assuming it’s Jamie Mackie who, even at 32, would be a great signing. Exciting!
