Ricardo German has refused to sign a new contract with Hendon and the club website wished him luck at Crawley. I'm fairly confident on this being true.

Seems he has played a few times for Chesterfield in league one.

Glenavon manager expects Sykes to join Vale so assume the personal terms are about agreed, whether Aspin should be spending 100k plus is another thing though as he could be gone shortly after a good old fisting against Lincoln.

I believe Sykes is an attacking central midfielder which means he will play right back under NA.

Sounds like Scott Wharton will be the first of our loanees to depart and go back to Blackburn, which isn't too much of a surprise. He's too good to be on the bench and been incredibly unlucky with Jason Shackell coming in.

He'd be a great signing for any L2 side but Blackburn wanted him in L1 in the summer so it might be that he ends up there.

CBs desperately needed here right now, wondering if a month long deal could possibly happen.

Alan Nixon seems to think we’re in for stockley, and him naming us above both Preston and millwall makes me think there has to be something in that. We won’t sign him without selling Aneke though, unless we can rob Exeter again similar to how we got Moore-Taylor off of them.

Couple of our fans reckon we are in for Lee Angol. Doesn’t seem to have set the world alight since being at Shrewsbury this year.

Don't think it's as simple as selling Aneke tbh..there are a lot of factors involved financially. For anyone, Stockley would be an excellent investment. He's only 25, even if he cost £750k (which would probably be the very limits of our purchasing power), if he has one good season in L1 I could see him going for £5m+ a year later. Maybe Pete sees the financial risk as a worthwhile investment.

I think our most important signing now could be a Goalkeeper now Bobby is out for a year, Conrad Logan is way to slow with distribution and off his line and against Swindon you could tell the defenders didn’t trust him.

There is a recall clause with Walker, so if he goes maybe two strikers and even a defender would be handy.

We need to shift one or two, Calum Butcher and Paul Anderson perferably but they are on such high wages it’s going to be tough.

I’m sure that would go down well with the Exeter fans.

Michael Duff confirming this morning that we were in for Dwight McNeil, but won't get him because he played well, and scored, for Burnley yesterday.

Nice to know the calibre of player he's looking at though.

Alan Nixon again talking more about Stockley today, apparently Portsmouth aren't in contention anymore and we are apparently willing to pay his wages and the transfer fee. Will be interesting to see where he goes, just can't see it being us. Think he'll end up at Preston.

Same happened to us, we were looking at Paul Pogba but because he’s scored 4 in 2 for United we won’t get him now.

Mansfield, Bury, Vale in for Calvin Andrew says ‘Ex- agent’... would be surprised if he’s good enough for the first two tbh.

Quigley has had his loan terminated and returned to Blackpool and Peterborough are expecting to recall Idris Kanu who has barely featured.

Dan Turner available for selection for tomorrow after his loan expired at Falkirk and Dior Angus is to be recalled from Nuneaton after hitting loads of goals there and available from Thursday.

Sykes set for Oxford who hijacked us which is a blow but possibly easier to rid ourselves of Aspin now that’s not in the air.

You can keep our two.

Pity -- I thought Slocombe had bought a house up that way.
He has, but he was brought in as cover for a GK who's injury ended up not being as bad as first feared (although out again for a couple of weeks with a calf strain).

We'll probably take him if he leaves your place and is on a cheap contract for 6 months but he's just using up a loan slot that could be used better at the minute.

Moomin , hearing much at your end about us signing Stockley? seems to have picked up the pace a bit.

Gamble on our part i think. How is his pressing game? I know he's not quick but if he works hard and has decent hold up play then it could work.

Don't think he was first choice by any means but we can't afford Keiffer Moore and we had other striking targets choose to move elsewhere in the summer. Being Poole based and having a young family could work against us if anyone decides a late swoop.

Hopefully it doesn't derail your play-off push.

No thanks

He scored once with his arse deflecting in Lofts shot in the most free scoring Vale side of recent decades. Can’t see him doing anything with the lack of service in this rabble!

Suggestion that we might be signing a player from the North East, uncertainty as to whether that is where they are actually from or are currently playing. We are signing a player called Junior Mondal from Whitby Town, who was previously with Middlesborough, so that could well be him. Think we will be bringing in a total of three players, expect them to arrive in the next few days, rather than the end of the window.

The club are hinting on twitter that Norwood might be signing a new contract. I won’t believe it until I see it, but what a sign of intent that would be.

A lot of heresay so far, although a City fan on Twitter said he’s heard Stockley has agreed terms with PNE already. If that’s the case then he won’t be in the squad tomorrow so watch this space.

As for how he’d do in your pressing system, he could certainly hold the ball up, he has a great touch and is good on the ground. Plus he’s an intelligent player and can finish extremely well. Tbh if the fee of £750k is true then it’s a gamble worth taking imo.
