Although it feels like all our Christmases have come in a week, adding his return to the signing of McCoulsky, you have to feel a bit sorry for Christian. I would be a bit worried if I was a Bolton fan though, it seems like their club is in a bit of a hole at the moment. What a joke Bolton are. Shouldn't be getting away with shit like that.
Yeah would be a bit worried about his mindset. Thinks he's playing Championship football then he's back in League 2. No disrespect to FGR but he must be a bit fed up to say the least.Although it feels like all our Christmases have come in a week, adding his return to the signing of McCoulsky, you have to feel a bit sorry for Christian. Agree with the first bit, understandable to be hacked off having to return. It would seem like we (FGR) have been paying his wages while he was at Bolton.Yeah would be a bit worried about his mindset. Thinks he's playing Championship football then he's back in League 2. Would have thought you've got more than enough to cement a play off spot now though so maybe the prospect of League 1 next season will motivate him sufficiently.
Can he play for another club this season? Isn't two the max?
Could he sign for someone but then be loaned back to FGR for the rest of the season? Could see someone like Wigan going for him.Can be registered with 3, but only play for 2. So if someone signed him he couldn’t play til next season. Which wouldn’t make much sense. FGR now serious auto contenders I’d say.
Saying that, it might throw a spanner in the works for their January transfer window around his wages back on the payroll and FFP.Is he out of contract in the summer?
Good news for FGR to have him back, though. It was the only option available and at least they know they've got him for the remainder of the season.

We've been expecting interest for him considering he nearly signed for West Brom in the summer (failed a medical, not sure why). Our manager has said today that we need to sell a player to balance the books and he's the obvious one.
A very good full back with a lot of potential to play higher. All his goals have come from free kicks - he takes them like Cristiano Ronaldo with about the same level of success i.e. it took him about 40 to score one lol. Having much better luck this season though. I just hope we get a good price for him. He's our only proper right back though.
Played 17 times for them in the end, though expect most would be sub. Read plenty of comments appreciating him from Bolton fans too, was keeping an eye on how he was doing as always wished him well.Feel sorry for that Doidge, I work with a Bolton fan and he wasn't impressed at all so this could have been his one and only shot at the Championship. Supposedly bought a house up here and everything.
Got to question anyone who can't get a game for that Bolton side.
Mickey Duff has confirmed this evening that Tyrone Barnett has signed on for the rest of the season.
Happy with that - he's done well for us since coming on loan from Vale.

Not sure if this has been mentioned earlier, but reports that we're about to sign another top tier European defender...

I get what you're saying but I'd argue that it's not quite the same, as you allowed a foreign manager who had never managed in England to come in and sign a whole host of overseas players. Had Ribeiro managed any of those players before? Jolley has at least started building his own squad here already and has already managed Ludvig Ohman.Doing that is what got us in this mess from a Top half League 1 side to bottom if League 2 in less than a year.

Has just recently been his favourite time of the year, to be fair. Our foreign lads have really started to gel to be honest. Chris Missilou in particular has come on leaps and bounds since signing from French non-league in the summer. Was absolutely everywhere in midfield yesterday against Fulham.
