It looks like we might be signing Bristol Rovers centre back Tom Broadbent for a fee (yes we are spending some cash!!).

The guy is built like a brick outhouse, no idea if he has any footballing ability or not!

Because he is now 27 I think the club are looking at Meyanaisse & Kilgour as the better longer term prospects. Tom needs game time and hopefully will get it with you. Good luckto him.

Thanks George. Pretty happy with the signing, hopefully he can add some steel into the side. Sid Nelson, who we had on loan from Millwall we wanted to sign permanently, alas that sounds like its not going to happen anymore.

Probably not. Our manager said last week we need to sell a player this month to balance the books so no spare cash. That's always been the way with us anyway, I can count the number of players we've paid a fee for over the last 10 years on one hand.

I'd rather have kept him but a lot of our fans won't be too bothered as he is very inconsistent. He's definitely got talent though and we aren't exactly blessed with wingers.

We've signed Reece Cole on loan from Brentford. Was briefly on loan at Yeovil in August, is he any good Yeovil fans?

Edit: After further investigation seen he was recalled pretty quickly, possibly due to some fitness issue, so you probably never saw him.

Brentford fans seem to rate him, but has struggled to settle into loan spells. Good at free kicks.

Yep delighted with that signing. Taylor has brought in 3 young and pacy players this week which we really needed.

Against Morecambe we were quite predictable and lacked much movement to pull their players out of position.
