Don't really get that signing from Bolger's point of view, unless we're looking at moving Bostwick into midfield. He's not guaranteed to be a regular starter so chances are he's gone from being a sub at a L1 side to a sub at a L2 side...

Also confirmed Shay McCartan will stay on loan until the end of the season and James Brown has been brought in on loan from Millwall, who will be back up to Neal Eardley at right back.

Bolger should prove to be a good bit of business and it's either, as above, Bostwick will be making an appearance back in CM at times or a longer term view bearing in mind Shackell is 34, albeit probably has another couple of years in him yet. No mention of a fee for Bolger either.

I feel good about that James Brown signing. Any opinion on him, Carlisle fans? Made a fair few appearances for you lot last season.

Yeah Wilson has never really settled here after getting injured last season and Wharton has just been damn unlucky.
With most of the loanees appearing to stop we maybe don't need as many new faces as we thought?

We’re set to announce two signings. Both from premier league clubs, one being a left back on loan and the other is a permanent signing of a winger. Apparently we’re getting him on a free but with a sell on clause.

Sad to see Rose go but if he's the same player he was before his nasty injury he suffered back in December 2017, then he's a great signing for Swindon.

Our season fell apart after he got injured but he hasn't been able to force his way into the side because of competition for places. I hope he does well after two good years for us.

An odd one is Diagouraga. Took absolutely ages to get fit as his early matches he looked big and clumsy. He has showed a few flashes of class but really hasn't lived up to his pre-season billing.

Usual rumours thrown around, involved in a drink driving incident, Wellens doesn't rate him, he's injured etc (fans don't get much feedback from our local newspaper anymore) but I still think there is a good player there if we can get him fit and playing. We aren't short of midfielders luckily.

Rowes a really good player, I’d have liked him at Mansfield but we’ve gone for grant instead, so at least as good.

We have the best defence in the entire league, and our downfall has been not taking chances so signing Grant and Ajose should make us even better.

We might sign one more yet apperantly, not sure what position mind. Elsnik has gone back to Derby, and I’m hoping we get rid of a couple more too.

Been reported we've made enquiries re bringing Kyle Howkins back on loan from West Brom in addition to having Remie Streete back training with the club. No question he can play but how many centrebacks does Aspin think the squad needs? This is getting ridiculous now and does nothing to address the real weak areas of the squad (pretty much everywhere else apart from goalkeeper).

We signed 3 centre backs last January window Howkins raglan and Howe we don't sign strikers cos we don't have the money pay the wages for them as they cost more.
