Can see the need of a new forward and in sure I've heard the name mentioned before.

The fact we are potentially bringing in another forward on loan I think shows what an absolute failure the signings were in the summer to be quite frank.

Have to agree with you on the 3 he brought in although Walker and Miller have not been given a sniff. Lafayette has had decent game time and shown that he's nowhere near good enough. Can add Stockley to that as I don't think he is either. Wall? Don't know. Id welcome another forward but by God we need to lose some players. We need to trim down by 10 really. Sauad is ridiculously big and budget is ever growing.

We're meant to be in talks with an attacking player to bring in on loan. It's our last loan aswell!

Blimey our squad is ridiculously big! Given that Still describes him as a "fox in the box" and competition for Cullen, you'd think Miller and Walker will be loaned out for the rest of the season now.

Squad is much too big, a lot of quite average ones in there as well in my opinion.

As I said on the rumours thread I think the fact we have had to bring in another loan forward shows that the ones we brought in in the summer haven't worked out.

Cambridge sign Nathaniel Mendez-Laing on loan for the rest of the season.

Seems like a decent signing on paper, but then I thought that about Barnes-Homer last season and Blair this season, so who knows. Might mean we actually start playing with two proper wingers on both wings, then again, Money will probably stick him at left back.

If you're expecting him to do anything for more than twenty minutes, you're out of luck.

It's a strange one with Mendez. The boy clearly has ability, but he lacks the desire to put it to use, he's built like a rugby player, very top heavy and it doesn't help him. He's still living off one good performance against Palace on the day we got relegated. We hoped that would be the turning point for him, and he'd get his head down and really push on but surprise surprise he's more interested in Nando's.

He's out of contract this summer and I wouldn't imagine we'll be offering him a new one so he's playing for his future with you lot. Maybe that'll inspire him somehow but I wouldn't count on it.

Argyle fans - What can you tell me about young Aaron Bentley? I see he got sent off in his last appearance?

Thanks

Rumours are we've brought in West Ham and Switzerland U21 goalkeeper Raphael Spiegel in on loan for the rest of the season.

Don't know if it's the same player but Curle mentioned looking at a couple of players on loan and one of them hitting a snag due to the club wanting him to be a guaranteed starter. Curle said he would never accept such a demand so it could have been the other one.

We've signed west ham goalkeeper Raphael Spiegel on a one month loan.

Hopefully he can do a job while Gillespie is out.

Seems as if Mark Cullen wants to be somewhere else judging by Stills comments on the radio just now. Peterborough being the rumour.

Never been 100% sold on him really but I don't think we have played to his strengths at all really.

Might be a bit of a spanner in the works for Cullen if it is Peterborough who are in for him given there manager has just departed. Judging from Stills comments after the game he might have burnt a few bridges.

According to the lot down the Nene (NEN not Neen), Macathony and Fry do all the transfers so makes no difference.

As per the previous comment too, why would the manager have no say in the players he's signed. Lets hope this has spectacularly backfired on Mark.

No League 2 player is good enough to demand anything nor force transfers.

I wouldn't be quite so vitriolic, he's a young guy with a family to look after so if he gets a chance to earn a bit more he has to take it really.

I do think it's a poor form from him though, to make statements like he did last week about wanting to stay and then a week later backtrack on all that doesn't reflect well on him.

I'm actually quite surprised anyone from higher leagues are in for him really, I don't think he's that great and is very limited in how you can utilise him. If you're not playing in a way that suits him he is pretty useless in my opinion. You've got to build around him and we haven't done that, so I thinks it's good for all parties if he moves on.

I think he has potential certainly to do it at a higher level, although we've seen a marked increase in quality between L2 and L1 this season. Remember he's only 22.

But he's burnt a lot of bridges. I, and LTFC, have no time for people who don't want to be here and essentially try and force a move away. That is unprofessional. Although, as I say, this has Peterborough's hands written all over it.

Although I have moved to a higher paid job than a lower paid one, I've never refused to work because of it or bemoaned a lack of "frame of mind". Professional pride surely comes first?

Supposedly a fee of £150,000 up front has been agreed with additional clauses making the potential deal up to £300,000.

I'd snap their hand off for that - not that I'm happy with the situation. Not at all.

According to a reliable source on our forum, the permanent signing of Cameron McGeehan to Luton Town has been completed for an undisclosed fee above £175,000 on a 3-year contract until the end of the 2018 season.

To be fair to him it was Still who decided he wasn't in the right frame of mind, not Cullen. Cullen asked to move but we don't know he has refused to play, that is an important distinction. I don't know maybe I'm talking bollocks (highly likely) but I just can't bring myself to be pissed off about this as I don't think he is a good enough player to get upset about him leaving.

As for the reported fee, yes please! I'd be happy with that even if he hadn't asked for the move.

We've signed Matt Harrold from Crawley til the end of the season. Obviously we've not seen him play as not been up here before this season however his goal scoring record looks reasonable. Fingers crossed I guess.

Obviously can't rely on Elliot then, he just keeps getting injured.

Haha just seen he played 50 mins in goal for Crawley against MK Dons last month, got them a draw too and would have been a win if it wasn't for a 96th minute equaliser. Maybe he's a replacement for Dunn. ;-)
