Didn't see much of him to be honest. I've always thought he was treated badly by us and didn't really get a chance. Seemed a decent shot stopper but I suppose most keepers are these days.

Interesting. He played a lot of games for Bournemouth which is a good sign I assume.

Morten Hyldgaard, I once witnessed him try to punch a shot. Not save it, but punch it like you would a cross.

I would say he was a pretty poor shot stopper.

Harrold is a proper DD signing. Mal Benning's loan at York extended, by the reaction on twitter it sounds like he has had a mare. Not surprised, absolutely dire when you play him at left back.

Ryan Bird has joined Hartlepool on loan. Not worked out for him last season with us after impressing last season in the Conference. Just too lightweight. I wish him well at Hartlepool, hope he does well for them.

Things are starting to feel a lot like last season, tons of loan players, conceding stupid goals towards the end of games, our most natural goalscorer played as a winger. Just needs the icing on the cake of a final day relegation now.

Only just recovered from an operation but he was looking very good before that.

Looks a good all-round striker

Hughill was very Impressive during his time with Gateshead in the Conference last season. Think he will do a really good job in League Two. Good signing

I haven't really seen enough of him to comment, the 15 minute cameo he made at the end of the Newport game all we did was hoof long balls up to him whilst he was marked by a six foot tall centre half. Maybe the signing of Hughill is an indication that he's not up to it anymore, maybe it's just Adams increasing his options for the run in.

Don't blame anyone for wetting themselves about him coming back though, he was quality first time round and had a pretty decent career since.

We sign our 497th and 498th Brentford players in the shape of Sam Saunders and Nico Yennaris, on loan until 29th March. Have never knowingly seen Yennaris but Saunders is at least L1 quality, so a decent signing I think.

Can't fault the effort but lacked ability. One of them David Amoo type players who'll chase everything down but give him a one on one with the keeper and he'll fluff it. Better than Amoo though, obviously.

Amoo isn't a bad finisher to be fair, just pretty shit at everything else. Also, he doesn't close down much for us, just backs out of challenges and never sprints at full speed. He did score 8 in league 1 last season, which is decent for a below average winger.
Very frustrating player though.

Fast and works hard for the team, good signing for the Doggers. Would have him back at Tranmere!

Kick in the teeth considering Brighton told us he wasn't allowed back out. Cheers for that Brighton!! He is very quick and he likes to run at the defence. More than good enough for League 2 in my opinion, maybe even League 1 once he is slightly more experienced. Good signing I'd say.

Glad to hear he's done alright in this division. Had a really promising pre-season and managed to force his way into the first team picture briefly at the start of the season - thought he would've made more of an impact at Rochdale but perhaps L2 is more his level for now.

Back in the day we used to have arguments with Notts County fans as to which of Jalal and Kasper Schmeichel was the best keeper in League Two. Jalal was great for us. Sadly he wasn't the same after a serious injury, whereby he broke his jaw and did some damage to his back, all in a penalty area collision. Hopefully he does a job for you, he seems to have had a nomadic existence ever since.

Will be interesting to see where Keane fits in, suggestions on our forum that he could be used at left back

He's versatile but his best position is defensive midfield by quite a way in my eyes. Quite good at right back but his lack of pace can be horrible exposed (mind you he's no slower than Henry...). Also quite good at centre back but he's not big enough to compete in the air which is an issue.

Left back... I'd be shocked if so. Very right footed. I'm sure he could fill in there in an emergency but there would be a lot of better options out there for that position. As a limited DM (don't let him shoot) though, as good as most anyone you'll find at this level.

Had a good game against us for Crawley earlier in the season. Played defensive midfield that day and helped them control possession very well.

Left back would be crazy, don't know why you would use bring him in to play there.

Keith Keane at left back? are you mental??.....I suppose Westley is your manager....

He's capable enough at right back but he will get a booking every game without fail in that position.

He's a central midfielder all day long.
