He's a very decent player but was also abit of a bad apple here behind the scenes apparantly.

I do remember at the time he signed for us Steve Davis at least didn’t exactly seem too disappointed to see the back of him. The Swindon fans will love him but it will be a challenge for the manager to keep him happy as he seems to have the ability to start a fight in an empty room.

Bloody good player at this level though. Hated playing against him when he was at Southend, loved him playing for us. Depends if age is catching up with him now.

Not sure what, if anything, went on when he was with us but him and Inman got more than a little bollocking and Davis & Baker couldn't wait for the chance to get rid of him. We missed him massively the season after he went.

Doesn’t really seem a position we need filling, tbh. Unless there’s someone going we don’t know about.

We've signed Ethan Robson on loan from Sunderland. Central midfield, freekick specialist. Ticks a few boxes in terms of what we need. Very good reviews from Sunderland fans who think only injuries have held back his involvement in the first team. Just need a left winger and I think we're set until January.

Crawley have signed Jamie Sendles-White, a centre back.

It didn't work out at Swindon unfortunately as he had a bad injury but from reports he's a really great bloke and I hope it works out for him.

Seemed to play quite a fair but for Dundee last season, so hopefully he's over the worst of his injury problems.

Signed Conor Shaughnessy on loan from Leeds, much needed extra body in defence.

Main concern is Dion Donohue has been released due to that whole ‘incident’ and we seriously needed a midfielder with some quality but it looks like it’s not happened. It’s not the end of the world like some would believe mind.

James Brophy has signed a one contract extension with us until 2021.

If he can improve on his final ball/end product then he can play higher.

I loved Brophy at Swindon. We were saying that about him when he was at us that his end product was the only thing really holding him back. He has good pace and works hard. A solid lower league left back/winger.

Absolute gash for us. Obviously had him at a tough time for the club, but he stood out as being particularly without merit in a side that at one time looked destined for relegation from the National League.

Nice bloke but didn't think he was ever much cop. Lost far too many headers for a start.

James Sendles-White joins as cover at centre back. We only had two and it seems he has been training with us for a while and impressed. More likely he was impressively cheap.

Felipe Morais away to Oldham. Season long loan. Really sad he has gone. Said to be for family reasons. He is not as pacey as he once was but can still beat a full back and put in a decent cross. Comes inside more now. Good player. The Latics are lucky to have him.

Dominic Poleon contract cancelled by mutual consent and gone to Newport. It really didn't work for him here and he only really got a run of games when Palmer was injured. Bradford fans didn't like him, most of our fans don't like him but I think there may be something there. I think he needs to be given a chance down the middle.

We've got rid of some serious wages in Morais and Poleon.

Oh, I see Cheltenham have signed Jonte Smith. Hope he makes it. His record at a lower levels impressive but doesn't really get a chance when he steps up.

Sunlun centre half Jack Baldwin has signed for Salford. What the fuck is he thinking? Great player for us, highly rated by the Mackems and a top fella - that part's now being re-evaluated.

We've signed Jack Aitchison, 19 year old striker from Celtic on a season loan. Their youngest ever scorer. Scored 1 in 7 games for Alloa last season in the Scottish Championship.

As well as Baldwin, Salford also signed Jervis yesterday. Between them, surely you're pushing £7-8k in wages.

All done organically on 2500 people paying a tenner in. Nothing to do with burning the Amazon down for palm oil. Not at all.

For once I'm absolutely delighted by no activity on deadline day. I had a bad feeling one of Ng, Kirk, Lowery or Wintle would have left after the start they've had. We can kick on now til January and see what happens then.

Artell will be disappointed that his sales pitch led to 0 acceptable offers, maybe get more luck selling them in January.

Ben Whitfield released after a mutual agreement to end his contract early.

Had been training with the youths and we’d been trying to offload him with him set to stick around until January doing nothing.

Strange one, shown glimpses of real quality when on loan, his performance against Luton being a key one and of course his late winner against Chesterfield with us down to ten men probably saved the club from relegation to the National League.

No hard feelings and guess we will never know why he ended up frozen out.

Good luck to Whitfield wherever he ends up next. Just a shame he never seemed to match his ability with the desire to show it on the pitch each week. Not sure where he will end up next, went on trial at Cheltenham in pre-season but for whatever reason that came to nothing. Would imagine a Conference club may be his best bet but whether he thinks he is better than playing at that level is another matter.

Should be stand out for you if you can get him fit and he gets his head down.
Fingers-crossed. If Johnson can get him performing anywhere near the standard he was at during his loan spell with you, he'll be a great signing.

Denzeil Boadu signs for Crawley. Ex Tottenham, Arsenal, Man City and Borusia Dortmund youth striker.

Sustained a bad injury scoring a hat trick for Man City v Bolton u23s in 2015. Recovered enough to play 29 times for Borusia Dortmund b last season. Tried to get a deal at Reading in the close season but they rejected the chance to sign him.

Bit of a come down but hey, we all need a job. 2 year deal with an option for another. Could be inspired, could be a waste.

Cundy has left us after not being good enough to get a place in our defence so naturally has gone to Torquay.
