Signed Michael Harriman. In our promotion season 15/16 he was excellent. Seems to have tailed off a bit since.

was also on trial at Cambridge in the summer?

Spent most of pre-season with us. Cambridge seemed to have him for a week or so when we headed out to Spain.

We've signed Callum Harriott on a two-year deal. Unbelievable signing, he was superb for us in League One and is definitely better than this level.

What type of player is he? Sounds quite versatile but he played right back in the Trophy on Tuesday night. We generally lack cover there and have a few injuries to holding midfielders so I guess he's going to be the back up for either of those positions.

Honestly, I’ve never seen him play but he had a really good pre-season playing right-wing back. Scored a few goals aswell (one against Colchester I think) so an attacking threat too.

Think he did well at Bromley last season so our coaching staff are hopeful he can make the next step up.

Crawley sign Gyliani Van Helsen. 25 years old. Left footed Dutch winger. Ex Ajax and Manure youth. Spent the last two seasons with Roda but it looks as though they didn't renew his contract.

He has played 41 times in the top flight in Holland with Roda ( taken with a pinch of salt) and his YouTube video shows him to be world class ( mine shows I'm a special talent on a par with Messi).

To be honest I know nothing about him and if he is as good as everyone says why is he at Crawley?

Hoping for another Boldjwien could be another Sanoh.

Excellent signing for Colchester at this level. Should be plying his trade in the top half of L1 surely?

Depends on his fitness I suppose. He was far too good for us when we had him in League One but something obviously hasn't gone to plan for him over the last few seasons.

Signed Conor Shaughnessy on loan from Leeds, much needed extra body in defence.

Main concern is Dion Donohue has been released due to that whole ‘incident’ and we seriously needed a midfielder with some quality but it looks like it’s not happened. It’s not the end of the world like some would believe mind.

Marcelo Bielsa... Mansfield... Marcelo Bielsa... Mansfield... I know, I'll choose Mansfield!

About time we had some extra defenders for competition anyway. I haven't been much convinced by the defence so far this year.

We're signing Jimmy Smith on loan from Crawley after he spent most of last year out with an ACL injury.

Crazy to see him dropping a level. He was a 10 goal, 8 assist player in 17/18. I know it can be hard to be the same at 32 after a major lay off. But still, I'm surprised Crawley just let him drop like that. Although I suppose its a short term loan to get his fitness and confidence up ahead of a recall.

We've got him until January, he sounds like a great addition to our squad.

Jimmy Smith is a good player and a decent bloke. He was with the fans at the Leyton Orient game and seems to have been around for ever. He was helping with coaching last season as well.

In his pomp he is a typical box to box midfielder but a year out with an ACL injury may have slowed him down somewhat. Who knows?

Good move for him as he will get game time to get back up to match speed at Yeovil. Good move for Yeovil as they get an experienced player who is a good influence in the dressing room. Good for Crawley as we can keep an eye on him and his performances at a decent level and in January he comes back, fit and raring to go.

signed Gethin Jones following his release by Fleetwood.

In other news, we've taken our short term contracts to extremes by getting new players to sign contracts which expire in the past!

I make that a minus-nine-month contract!

Finally signed centre back, Elliott Ward till January. Don't know why it's taken so long.

He’s decent enough for L2 but in a full back role, don’t make the mistake Flitcroft did and play him in a wing back role and expect him to be Haydn White quality.

Well we won’t be expecting him to be Hayden White quality. We’re Carlisle United not Real Madrid.

We ( our mental ex-Chairman ) , signed a player called Trickett-Smith in January from a local non-League side Leek Town.
Crewe fans will know more about him i believe he went for decent money to the bin dippers ?

Not featured once since the loon signed him and now farmed out to Curzon Ashton on loan for 2 months.

He was alright as a wing back once match fit I thought. Not amazing but decent.

Just seen this on twitter from the guy that analysis all the data for Peterborough. Lowery and a few of our other players are going to be highly sought after.

We've loaned out Adam Smith to Yeovil and Shawn McCoulsky to Bromley last Friday (scored their winner on Saturday).

Those 2 were expected to be our first choice keeper and striker at the start of the season, safe to say it's not really worked out like that.

McCoulsky had a decent loan spell at Newport so I am surprised he’s struggled for you. How’s Aaron Collins done so far? He was superb at Morecambe so expected him to score plenty for you...
