Seems like my £1m+ prediction for Chrisene was slightly over estimated although the sell ons definitely make up the short fall. Higher than the other figures chucked around by the other Exeter lads on here.

It was around 800k upfront plus add ons. Chrisene took a 5% payment of 45k, not bad for a lad of his age! The rumours of Bayern being interested aren't true. His agent secured a trial with them but it was unsuccessful and he wasn't offered anything.
This comes from a friend who is a father of someone in the academy and knows Chrisenes Dad.

The majority of the fee has gone paying deferred wages. The rest will be added to the bank to help pay running costs over the season.

Nugent's main gaff is supposedly in Loughborough and he'd like to move closer, already had talks with Northampton so i'd say they're in pole position. Imagine we would still be paying 50% of his wages wherever he goes but the alternative is paying his contract up.

He can occasionally, but needs to learn to put direction on them instead of just letting the ball bounce off his head and out of play or to an opponent.

He turned Northampton down to join you the first time round.....Depends if he thinks he can still cut it in lge 1

Was always going to choose Championship football though, especially at a club where he has cult hero status.

We also stupidly gave him a two year deal, no idea what sort of wage.

Alex Neil didn't even want him, our owner signed him of his own accord for a cheap win with our more gullible fans.

I think he'll still try and play at the highest level possible if he has offers, can tell he still has a passion for playing, he's just past it.

So you are saying his agent secured a trial for him at Bayern Munich when he was contracted to Exeter???
