I said that Gallimore was better than Shrimpton last year. I was very wrong about that as Gallimore was shocking when he played and has signed for Cleethorpes I think now.

Shrimpton isn't great either but he will get away with everything because he was born in Scunthorpe. If he was a loanee he'd be getting booed off the pitch like Richie Bennett was last year.

Yeah we don't really need anyone, we've got a full squad already amd have spent two years buying players for this season.

We are likely to bring one or two in before the season starts, but they are apparently players currently contracted to their clubs instead of free agents.

The rumour is that he failed the Parkinson character test and so we didn't proceed. He meets all prospective signings to assess their character and team fit before signing them, and he didn't get good vibes from Powell.

All gone a bit quiet in terms of rumours here - we didn't need a huge amount of incomings this summer anyway, but I worry the whole Alfie May business may've overshadowed other business we've been trying to do. Harris still wants another 4 in - a striker, wide man, central defender and another player he describes as 'something different - a project', which could mean absolutely anything.

We've We've 2 young goalkeepers training with us apparently, we had 5 keepers at 1 point last season, got 3 atm so we'd be looking at bringing a 4th choice in.
