From what I’ve seen he just seems to shoot from anywhere. Probably score a few goals but not sure he’s going to be much good at making anyone a balanced team.

We’re on some sort of weird transfer seesaw. Got a striker at ML but it can’t go through until his club’s deal for a striker goes through, at which point Jon Forte can leave (seemingly to Chesterfield).

I remember Martin saying on Stagsnet he reckons he was the best striker in the conference since Vardy, but I have never seen him play once and know very little about him to be honest.

I doubt him overtaking Rose and Hemmings, although Lee Angol has not got going at all this season especially after his injury so maybe 3rd choice is most likely.

We play a version of 4-3-3 where plays out on the right. We have not often gone to 4-4-2 but he has played in the front 2. Or has played in the midddle four. Oh, and don’t let him take free kicks.

As said, Miller just shoots from anywhere - the David Holdsworth of shooting - and thrived on poor defending in the NL.

If you were to look at his goal scoring record, I imagine the vast majority of his goals were against the lesser sides and struggled against the better defending off the top 5 sides.

We've decided to rectify our leaky defence, non-existent midfield and misfiring strikers by signing GK George Legg on loan from Reading, the one position we don't need further resource in.

Rumoured our other expected signing is rank average Nuneaton forward Jordan Nicholson. 9 goals in 20+ games in the NL this season.

I think I’m pretty safe in saying the anti Mansfield comments are more down to Fatty Fat Boy being appointed rather than Mansfield being in the play off places or higher.

Tbh nobody really cared about Mansfield , not even the Mansfield public apparently, when you decided to drop down into non-league Football for the first time in the club’s history. Maybe you were just kinda forgotten by the football league
