Just noticed that 8 of the top 20 away supports are Yorkshire clubs. (And several more not far outside Yorkshire)

Has to be an explanation for that. I mean it's not like there's been any footballing success in the county for like seventeen generations.

4 out the top 6 too it just shows shit we are at the moment none of us in the pl.

We're a passionate bunch us Yorkshire folk, even the smallers clubs like us, Donny and York have always pushed above are weights when it comes to away support.

Might have something to do with the fact its the biggest and greatest county in the country and we have no premiership clubs.

Biggest county(ies) in England with many large towns and cities, simple really

You moved someone into Yorkshire? I get 7

I only get 6 now. #headsgone. Leeds, Weds, Utd, Bradfud, Ull, Barnsley. Who's the 7th. And no idea who the 8th is!!

Edit: Scratch that. Middlesbrough. For some reason I was thinking is was in Durham or Northumberland or Iceland or somewhere.

You could argue the 7th is Boro.....

I must admit, these attendance tables absolutely fascinate me. Not enough to wank over, obvs. Well not often. But it's an endless seam of pleasure, conjecture. And then you look at previous seasons and think...what did we get last time we were at home to Burnley. Oh yeh....it was the day we got relegated three seasons ago so why did we get our second-highest gate of the season? The worse we get, the bigger our crowds get. Not sure if people just turn up to mock the players?

Then this season, we had two successive home games that had almost exactly the same attendance. 18,166 against Huddersfield and then 18,167 against Brentford.

I mean was it that just one bloke enjoyed the Huddersfield game so much he said to a mate "You really should come down the Molineux for the Brentford game." Just one. No-one else. Just the one. How often does a club have the same number, effectively, twice in a season, except when at absolute capacity. This is something Wolves really don't need to worry too much about: we only get absolutely fully sold out when Rotherham come to town. No seriously, that's our gate record in the current stadium format.

Pretty much what i said then. Big county lots of clubs all in the fl.

I was attempting to be ironic for the non residents of the 3rd best county in England (waste of time)

624 Chesterfield at FC United. More than we got tickets-wise which is odd. Although you could get plenty more people around the end and down 1/3 of the side not many more people would be able to see due to it being completely flat.

I thought that number was odd to considering they said they'd given us 600 tickets and cfc tweeted yesterday that there were still around 70 tickets left. Maybe they meant 524? Oh well.

They let some pay on gate I think. 624 for a MOnday night game on the box isn't bad. Quite enjoyed it apart from the awful away end

Just 2,916 there.
Thought they'd have sold out.
Perhaps the interest in this club isn't as great as some thought it might be.

A night of embarrassment for FCUM all round really. I understand they want to stick to principle but I think they will regret it looking back, they had the chance to make it a real occasion and have wasted it.

It's a long time since I've watched a match stood at pitch level behind two other rows of blokes. A shite experience frankly and I was glad to get a seat for the second half.

But they sorted a pretty decent 'kop' out for the home fans.

Indeed. Though for league games it won't be the 'home' end as such as there won't be segregation normally.

All tickets were sold for the game , hundreds bought tickets but did not attend and a few hundred were outside the ground protesting. That away end looked horrific not quite sure who came up with the idea to build that.

I'm not sure it was that many outside. The terrace barely looked any fuller in the second half.

Presumably it is intended to terrace it at some point but they could have at least have had a slight fucking incline to it.

More Blackpool at Wigan tonight in the paint cup than I thought there would be. Around 200/220 I would guess, which was a surprise. 30 or so Blackpool and 40-50 Wigan lads fighting during the game behind the stands made for pretty decent entertainment on a Tuesday night.
