Vale to Barnsley isn't as close as people might think tbf (1hr 48 according to google maps) but 278 isn't great.

We took 2,400 odd to Oldham last season. I'll be surprised if it's much over 1,000 next weekend. 8 losses in a row does that unfortunately.

Horrific by us, in mitigation why oh why was it all ticket? I have been to every game this season including Sarfend but saturday was one game too far, 5 defeats in last 6 aways, negative tactics, piddling down and Vale usually can,t wait to be charity cases when teams on a bad run. The apathy at the minute is incredible, we only took 1500 to Burton and 900 to Fleetwood, both games always sell out, until Page is sacked people won,t get their enthusiasm back. That said still a dreadful following but how a Barnsley fan can say they are the only ones who left with head held high is a tad confusing !!
