If a few clubs go bust because of this, as sad as it'll be (and they will come back eventually, even if under a new name) it is absolutely a price worth paying to keep English football alive and in its current format. Lower league football will be non existent in the future if this comes in. The EFL trophy is evidence of that.
These proposals need to be vehemently opposed no matter how much they try and bribe us with.
If a few clubs go bust that will mean hundreds of people losing their jobs, hundreds of kids losing their places in academies as well as the likely mental health issues this will have in communities that are already struggling.
It's a shit situation but the smaller clubs won't get a bailout for nothing, so get round the table and negotiate.
