I know it’s just bookies talk but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Evans jumped ship

Seems this might have some legs to it if national journos are mentioning it. Way to make yourselves as odious as the Westley era Stevenage.

I’m not really sure Stevenage are bothered about how they’re perceived, they play in a takeaway burger uniform kit

Anyway if he leaves expect us back down here next season (and probably in the national league the season after too).

According to Sweeneys post match presser, sounds like Clint Hill is on his way out of the club not long after joining as Challinors assistant. Wasn’t there tonight, maybe he’s following DC to Stockport?

Possibly, or making way for a new manager/assistant combo?

Agreed, his name etched down next to pantheons of Pools greats like Kudus Oyenuga, Nialle Rodney and Luke George
I’d personally walk and piggy back Kudus or Rodders back to the vic if it meant never seeing Fondop ever again.

They are quite well off and they were shithouse central under Neil Smith. Not sure what they were like under Woodman.
Still shithouses, the 3 goals scored against us were all scored second half in front of their own fans but for all 3 goals they ran the full pitch to celebrate in front of our away fans instead, seems like there are quite a few knob head teams in the National League this season.

Bromley, much like their shithole town, are unpleasant chavvy wankers. Would be the most awful club inside the M25 if Borehamwood didn’t exist.

Rumour is Alan Dawson from Woking for Pools.
Even mentioned on the Woking board & a couple of Poolies who live down that way.
Betting suspended by BetVic but then again,so was Woodman.
As I say just a rumour.

I think they pulled the betting on both sites cos they pay out on next manager after the caretaker has been in charge for 10 games, tonight is his 6th, they must've been getting a sweat on?

As for Dowson, no thanks, even we can't understand what he's saying.

Rather have his brother Les.

As Rocka says it is Dowson.

According to the Singh interview he stated the manager he hires will have played and managed
In the EFL, Unless i misunderstood.
And as far as i am aware Dowson has not managed in the EFL.

Dowson sounds like Geordie Mike from Alan Partridge.

He’s based in the Surrey area for years, well over a decade, managing Walton & Hersham, kingstonian, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Woking. I’m not sure why he would want to uproot his family back to the North East.

Said in his post match interview Woking had knocked back an unnamed EFL club who wanted to speak to him, so either us or Stevenage?

Please no. No Dowson, no Tommy Miller and Micky Nelson.

We should be going for Wild but no doubt DC would've had a word with him about that.

Tommy was at the Newport game and said he wasn't ready for it and Nelson has just got the tin tack from Blyth, he has no chance thankfully

Wild looking like the pick of the litter unless Pools have some secret candidate lined up.
