As opposed to Derek Adams, Gary Bowyer was a top bloke and did his best to gel with fans. Unfortunately his football was dire to watch, and despite being in the top 7 or so during his time with us, the fans turned on him and he was sacked.

Strikes me a bit of one of these nu-age coaching conmen him. Read all the books, got all his badges etc. With the squad Notts have they should have challenged us and Wrexham IMO. They even rocked Harry Arter out for 2 or 3 months of the season. I wouldn't rule them out of the play-offs though simply because they do have individual talent. I think they play tonight.

Notts County sacked Neal Ardley for Burchnall who managed to finish higher with Solihull with a smaller (not small) budget.

If Notts go up he'd mad to leave them for Forest Green IMO. Only one division below and Notts have a far bigger fanbase and potential.
