Which basket case club would take a punt on a Barton/Deeney management duo

Who have they got back? Easily the worst team I've seen this season (and I've seen Grimsby plenty of times this seaaon!). When we played them less than a month ago they probably put in one of the worst performances I've seen at this level (and I've seen Grimsby plenty of times in previous seasons!).
We played Salford the other week. They won 0-1 but in all honesty they completely tanked us. They had 35 shots in the game!

I'd be surprised if they got pulled into it.

Sayyyy whatttt? He's averaging 1.56 points per game and only appointed in November.
If it was like with us, half a dozen games that go well until the opposition susses his tactics out and then dogshit. Even when you win it's dire. From a footballing view if Bradford bin him I hope it's his swan song in the EFL.

Totally agree wherever he's been his football is dire. It's what we warned the Bantams to expect when appointed.

His tactics are a disgrace. His subs are baffling. He won't play any of our creative players. I think he's getting every single decision wrong at the moment. I didn't go Tuesday night against Salford and I walked past the ground at 7PM when I finished work. Can see why you binned off him rather quickly. I've never seen football as bad as this.

Not just his fault though. Think the club is heading for the National League next season with the current fatties in charge.

I don't disagree with anything you've said, but
a) He's not really the problem. Sparks is, but we have no real way of getting rid of him.
b) He does now have a couple of useful attacking options in jake Young and Tyreik, although it seems the latter is now injured.

As I mentioned earlier, the Swindon commentators ripped apart GA's tactics. They discussed whether it was more accurate to call our defence immobile or static. They mocked the 3 man defence tactic. When Jake Young came on and we were still knocking long balls, they were 'Well, we know that won't work'.
They weren't being malicious. They just couldn't believe their luck that a team was playing so pointlessly.

So, as I say, I agree that GA is abysmal at using the players he's inherited, but this is the first match he's been able to integrate Jake Young at all. You have to feel sorry for Young. GA's current tactics could be almost tailor made to destroy his career.

GA has discovered how to fail, and he's failing so badly that he has no choice but to change. Hopefully he will try something different for the Pizza Cup. The trouble is he's playing a side that just lost 5-1, so he might think that he can give it one more try.

Is McCann under threat for his job? I get they've had and have a lot of injuries, but even so, getting tonked heavily week after week isn't a good look for them. 21 goals conceded in the last 8 games, you aren't winning games with that sort of record.

You feel that if they lose to Sutton next weekend, he's done for no?

Yeah I think their injuries have largely cleared up now so he will need to try and get some results sharpish to avoid the chop you’d think.

A Sutton win against Harrogate Tuesday and he'll be sacked after Saturdays defeat to Sutton.

We have a huge squad of injured and shite players, fully expected to get beat yesterday but the player selection and formation were baffling. We continue to not be able to defend any type of cross, all of those things are down to the management team. There are murmurings starting about his ability to get us playing as a team and address the same issues week in week out. Personally I can only see us going down

It takes some real effort to try and out-shitshow FGR, but hats off Bradford, you're making a fair fist of it there.

Good to see the days of mad cap owners making ridiculous decisions are still alive and well. No boring solid structured long term plan bollocks like Brentford or Brighton. Just keep hiring and firing all types of managers until something works for a little while, and then when it stops working again start hiring and firing again.

Alexander's tactics were hardly unknown were they? So why appoint him if you don't want to see that type of football.

Our clueless CEO thinks Alexander's football is entertaining so that tells you all you need to know

Just remember Alexander was always Sparks' number one target. Despite him being in a job when we sacked Hughes and us offering Cowley the gig lols.

Don't forget we approached Wellens so Alexander was probably something like fifth choice

I read the other day that Benito Carbone still fancies a crack at the Bradford job, would be a crowd pleaser of an appointment but his management/coaching record isn't wildly impressive.
