The Cowleys were at our game with MK the other night guess who Gills next 2 league games are against? could be something and nothing.

Last season Danny Cowley attended one of our home games after he left Portsmouth - randomly he was sitting in our home end with our crowd, next to my mate of all people with one of his scouts. Looked like they paid for a ticket to watch the game to be fair to them.

They spent all game taking notes on both teams. Think it was our 1-0 win over Crawley.

My mate spoke to him and he said he liked to get out and watch teams and how they setup and played etc.

So Danny Cowley - he gets about it seems!

I'd not heard of him before so just looked him up. How did he get that job? Did he win a competition? Doesn't seem to have the CV or experience of someone you'd want running a club the size of Bradford.

He runs the club like he's won a competition that's for sure.

Think Karl Robinson would be a solid choice for either.

Not sure if you're aware but when you did this before for something Hurst related and referred to him as El General I posted it on The Fishy and it's ended up being a bit of a nickname. Even saw it used by someone I know for sure isn't on The Fishy.

I think the best fitting manager about for Bradford would be Darren Ferguson.

He’s not a fantastic manager when he actually has to ‘manage’ as shown with the play off collapse, but whe he has a side with a budget he usually has his sides going up and playing a very attack based game which is what I think Bradford probably need currently.

Doubt he’s leave his beloved Peterborough job.
