Probably just about the better side this half, could do with getting a winner given the other scores.

Can see a late goal in our game. Hoping it's us!

We were good today and finally took our chances for a change. Wrexham were excellent for ten minutes before half time but for the majority we were sharper and pressed quickly giving them no time on the ball. Masterstroke from Burr to bring Richards on at half time, they couldn't handle him. Best performance I've seen from Shaw too, bossed the midfield and looked really up for it. New lad James Roberts from Oxford looks to have a fair bit abot him, he went off with a knock though.

Pretty funny from our point of view that Newton conceded the free kick which Rooney converted to put us ahead. At one point, Vose, the laid back king, turned around and gave him an absolute tongue lashing. Cue the chuckles in the stands.

Should be double figures against a poor Boreham wood, but can't score for shit. Missing Dennis sorely.

FT. Came under a bit of pressure late on, partly thanks to a negative substitution and settling for the point.

Our form is still poor though, 2 points from 15. Need to improve quickly or we're going to start dropping.

After Tranmere robbed us last week Halifax felt the backlash, not often you score seven and come away feeling you wasted a number of chances either.

Easy win really. Bromley gave everything but we were on another level today.

14 points from 6 games against sides in the top half. If that continues then we will be top by the end of this month.

Moses Emannuel( spelling?) looked a decent player, but he was obviously their game plan and was kept quiet for the most part.

Onto Wrexhams champions league final on Tuesday

All in all, a very satisfying weekend. One point off.

(We'll finish mid-table.)

Bromley will protest that red, and they might have a point. However, take the handbags and referee out of the equation and there was still only one team in it. A hard fought win against a lacklustre Bromley side, and you could see what it meant to the Tranmere players. I'm a very happy fan.

Special mention for the Bromley fans. Good numbers, good noise... understandably frustrated by some of the decisions. Have a safe trip home lads.

Impressive run Tranmere but you looked poor last week and were very lucky to come away with three points. Here's hoping we can both bounce back at the the first attempt.

Nah, the Shaymen will probably stay up, and if they were to go down, then they really are crap. Far too many poor sides in this league, and the fact that the two relegated clubs are in 2nd and 3rd respectively confirms this. Today's result was just one of those games, which I'm sure everyone has experienced before, where heads drop after the 2nd or 3rd goal.

Cheer up Chris you play us next week :D
If we play like you did last night, keeping the ball on the ground as much as possible, then we might beat you. If we go for the long game, lobbing the ball over the top, then you might go home with all three points because we aren't very good when we play like that.

Bloody hell, 3 Tranmere wins on the trot, not been many of them this century!
Good to see Cole Stockton getting a brace for Southport today too.

3-2 flattered Wrexham. Should have 4 or 5-1. Referee was an absolute minger for us. No one knows what the 1st half penalty to Wrexham was for. We should have had at least 1 possibly 2. We needed that after the 2 dismal away performances last week. Rooney and Shaw had very good games. Newton was fairly anonymous. Wrexham passed it around very prettily at times, but as said we showed up for this one thank God. Possibly the worst 2 keepers in National League on show today. Bring on Moneybags Barrow, although we've not played well away all season really.

Hoped I wasn't right in Aspin being the only asset FCHT ever had, but I was. Heartbreaking, really.

That'll do nicely, onto the Welsh. Great to see Trialist H taking his chance today as well, give Brabin something to think about when Norwood's back.

Best we've played so far this season, not a single played had a bad game and we're really starting to gel as a team (as Brabin said we would when people were wanting him sacked after five games). Could have been a closer game though if Davies was correctly shown a red card for a handball outside the box mid way through the first half!

Also, the Bromley captain (massive centre half) was probably up there with one of the worst players I've seen at Prenton Park, his pass completion must have been about 1% by the end of the game.

Not playing your two top scorers against the league leaders is totally inexcusable IMO.
