Almost as good as
Nuneaton 6 -1 Guiseley

You now have the advantage of focusing on the league now. Out of the bottom 4 teams I think you have the greatest chance of staying up so come the end of the season if you do stay up I dont think losing 6-1 to Nuneaton in a tinpot trophy matters much

Judging by our starting eleven that's exactly our manager's thoughts.
The worst of it was losing Ash Palmer (center back) with a nasty gash on his ankle. That's both first choice center backs now out injured.

Quite enjoyed it as a piss take of Jimmy "BANTER" Bullard. Does anyone still think he's actually funny? A measure of how much of a tool he is is demonstrated by his story about when he thought he was world class after being called up (but never played) for England:

Another daft scheme Bents and I came up with was seeing who could say ‘Postman Pat’ as loudly as possible within earshot of the gaffer.

But Bentley took it to another level when he would walk straight up to the gaffer and scream ‘Postman Pat!’ right in his boat before adding ‘And his black and white cat!’ for good measure.

Nice to see I can add Curzon and their innovative toilet locks fresh for tonight's game

Apparently there are street vendors in Lincoln hawking half-and-half scarves for our match against Ipswich...a 3rd Round Replay against a middling Championship side. :ffs:

Worrying thing is the number of plastics who have got tickets means they'll most likely do a roaring trade :ffs::ffs:

Don't know about you, but from match reports I usually want to know what the score was, and if my team played well...

And you look for that on clubs' official sites?... Those match reports can often be the most biased things you will see all season. To their credit some teams try to give a more balanced view, but they are still often clearly biased.

Not sure this quite qualifies as tin-pot, but I can't imagine it's wise having a pop at your ex-players when you're the Chief Executive, and via the OS!

http://www.leytonorient.com/news/article/2016-17/orient-club-statement-3528608.aspx

"...Jay Simpson had scored six goals, and from last summer he had been trying to leave the club."

"...Jordan Bowery’s contribution during the first half of the season was imperceptible"

"...as well as great young talents like Paul McCallum and Gavin Massey who are players with fantastic qualities, and have a massive desire that was lacking from players in the past like Darius Henderson, Jobi McAnuff and Jordan Bowery."

It's not just the likes of mike Ashley selling players behind managers back they even at in in non league:
http://www.shildonafc.com/2017/01/shild ... statement/

Very underhanded trick to a bloke that came in when club was on its arse and stayed for 12 year which is a long time for a non league manager

They mentioned the Scottish Cup draw on 606, didn't give specifics about what had happened, only that it included Rod Stewart...I thought that the other two men involved did brilliantly, under the circumstances.
