They're not examples of bad grammar. The only grammatical error in his post was that he used "them" instead of "those", while he was missing a few capital letters and a full stop.

We had a really weird altercation with a group of older fans who just gave a lot of shit an insinuated they were going to start a fight. Can't tell if they were never actually going to do it, or if the stewards prevented them (who were wonderful, and appeared to know this group quite well). Probably the only time I've ever praised stewards!

perhaps north midlands but not really northern....if you did decide to divide country into equal thirds of south, midlands and north, using east coast distances, Grimsby would probably be a Midlands club as well
