I’m losing track of who is arguing with who on here now. The Halifax fans seems to have started a trend. Wealdstone v Barnet now is it. Why can’t we go back to us having a good side and Wrexham moaning about how shite they were
We love being trend setters. However I love that ignore button. I can see nothing he puts its awsome

Obviously we are not an EFL sized club but we are the only non-league club (as in a club which was not in the Football League in 1986) who have never played below this league since it was created in 1979.
First and only club to win the conference 3 times AND still be in existence. MAHOOSIVE.

Don't forget us (on the moral high-ground) versus Chesterfield (in their immoral bunker)

I don’t see how any Barnet fan can criticise Wealdstone, or any other fan, for finding it funny if we were relegated.

We should take it as a compliment - that we are seen as a relatively big club at NL level, with decent and recent FL history.

That it could spell going out of business (which I do not agree with as a likely outcome) is our concern, not fans of other clubs.
Of course it is our concern, but it would still be (and is) classless if other fans then decide to publicly enjoy it. Again, this isn’t Newcastle being relegated to the Championship. We could (and I have fairly firm knowledge that is ‘would’) be disastrous.

The humour is always there in relegation. It evaporates when you know the impact it would have on a club.

But didn't one of your own fans earlier in this thread tell how Barnet fans revelled in Enfield's demise?

Well Stockport have certainly pushed the boat out signing Paddy Madden, substantial six figure fee and a three and half year contract. More than disappointed to see him go, he's been a tremendous player for the Cods and leaves as the clubs highest ever goal scorer. He should be a huge player for the club and wish him all the best and hope his signing propels Stockport back into the EFL

Our 2 sad, lost little Shaymen, so far from the comfort of their home forum, are trying to make out our recent purple patch has come out of the blue when in fact since losing 1-0 to Sutton on 28th November, we've taken 36 points from 18 matches. Yeah, damn right we have! That's title winning form every day of the week. While that is a bridge too far, we're in the play-off fight for real and you'd better believe it. :ds:

Maybe now would be a good time to start a thread on the League 2 forum introducing yourself like you did the last time you were in the play offs.

Is that a bit of a risk for 31 year-old?

Shit or bust, methinks..
Pretty certain it won't be bust as far as we're concerned. The investment in the playing side is quite minimal compared to investments into the infrastructure and the general workings of the club. I'm pretty confident our new owners is in it for the long haul. I know they all say that and we've been stung in the past but we'll see.

When fans are back in, if we're challenging again next season we'll get 5-6k a home game, a few of our lot have said to me we've barely even started the "project" (yes that notorious word)...

If Woking do take that step, and then more clubs follow suit then that might save Dovers bacon? Although surely it will start getting to the point that they will have to null and void the league. The NL paying the price for not taking a decision on Dover

Seems to be an ill advised bluff to the players to motivate them, as opposed to a genuine threat.

Yeah, it’s a terrible headline. He even talks about them having some young players he wants to bring in to play if it happens.

Haha I thought you were joking, just seen the thread. :bl:

Just read it, shamefully tinpot. He's got to be about 14 years old at most.

Also some random bloke in there who thinks AFC Wimbledon are still the old Wimbledon and have their honours etc.

Yeah that’s Devon Lad, well known in there for talking complete rubbish and disappearing for days if ever Exeter get beat.

Saw this on our forum. What the table looks like with Dover results gone. No idea if it’s right or not. It moves us up 2 spots
