I expect us to lineup:

Grainger
Caprice Coulson Elokobi Widdowson
Lee Clay
Dayton Mooney McAnuff
Bonne

Subs:
Sargeant
Sendles-White
Lawless
Boco
Abrahams
Charlie Lee may not be fit, but we shall see. Alex Lawless will come in for him then.

Sutton have an experienced side, plenty of names I recognise in there.

I've been to every friendly and we are good in possession, we move the ball quickly on the floor and I'm sure we will create chances. Last Tuesday at Hornchurch, we came up against a goalkeeper who played a blinder and scraped his team a 0-0. I have no doubts that will happen once or twice to us this season.

Our weakness for me are the full backs, Widdowson and Caprice's one v one defending isn't the strongest and Caprice likes to charge forward alot, which can leave gaps.

We will score, but I don't think we will be a team that keeps many clean sheets.

Get money on Josh Taylor to score at least once for Sutton after his trial with us a month ago.

Our squad is the 1st/2nd strongest in the league IMO alongside Tranmere's.

Looks like our ticket surge for Sutton was tempory as they've made general sale, most I'd imagine will stay home and watch.
Looking forward to being bottom of a league again come 3pm :bdick:

That's a very good side for this level. You're gunna be well up there! Like has been said, first 6 or 7 games might be win draw lose win draw lose but once you're settled I think that side can challenge! Good mix in there.

Sutton are a strong side, in every sense. They've lost Deacon but added 3 of Dover's better players who finished 6th. They're my tip for play offs. Don't be disheartened with a draw Orient fans, it's a long old season.

Cannot wait for tomorrow now. I genuinely believe that we will come away from Wrexham with the win. My prediction is 3-2 to back with big Gime Toure bagging the winner from the bench. Koby Arthur to produce a MOTM performance.

My predicted starting line up:

Jalal
Hodgkiss-Pilkington-Lowe-Fitzpatrick
Baba-Richards
Durrell-Arthur-Wilson
Marsh

Subs:
Kennedy
Hancox
Whitaker
Burgess
Toure

Excited for the season to start and to see how our new players perform, though not quite as confident as most Macc fans going in to Saturday based on Wrexham's team; Pearson being injured would be increidbly helpful to our cause. One plus is if Wrexham play with Boden and Holroyd up front they at least won't be using a physical, big target man, which will suit us.

Boden to score and Whitaker to come off the bench to get one late (he loves a goal against Wrexham). Either 2-2 or 3-1 Wrexham.

Why this late stage though, if there was more notice they could have reversed the fixture.

Whilst in no way excusing Solihull....surely the safety certs and H&S docs had to be lodged with the League several weeks ago to be allowed to start the season? How have they allowed it to go this late?

I heard something about one of our crucial players being injured for tomorrow - don't know whether it was true, but if it is, it's a major blow and has made our chances of getting something a lot smaller.

What a truly dreadful division this is. And people actually think it's getting better.

I remember saying last season that it was easily the worst ground I've ever been to, made NFU look like the Nou Camp.

I have no idea who any of our "crucial" players are yet this season.

Feel a bit sorry for Solihull - presumably there have been safety checks earlier in the summer that haven't flagged up any issues, and seemingly their local council has screwed them over at the final hour. If their ground failed and ours hasn't, then it must be bad...

Nice video here from BT Sport:

Ignoring the bit at the end about promotion, which is a bit much and would be a mircale it has to be said, we are still behind. We literally had to throw a squad together in 5 weeks with no scouting reports.

Martin Ling is right though, when we're playing at Sutton tomorrow, I will be just as relieved to see a senior team out there competing and the football club getting back to its feet again.

Can't wait , completely fresh start for us. Coxall has gone, new team and manager, fans are buzzing. All the signs are good. Expect us to win some games for the first time in about 6 seasons, new grounds to visit. Might be non-league but buzzing to get started really.

C'mon the Orient. Planned on going to a pub in Ruislip to watch it as I'm at Wealdstone v Concord, but tbh bed was a better optipn at the time so my first Orient game of the season will be refreshing the Orient messageboard whilst navigating the tube.
