Chesterfield are awful. We've been well on top, but it's typical of us this season to just chuck it away.

out of interest, what's Keats footballing philosophy;- don't conceded and you don't lose - or we'll just score more than you?

Don't concede and you don't lose. I suspect he's going to have to have to bring players in because some of them Hughes brought in can't play in that sort of team. Unfortunately we are the only club in the National League who have a transfer window so that might have to wait till January.

We've got a decent RB, Matt Tootle and young centre midfielder Tom Crawford, ex Chester and loaned to Fylde last year who Ardley has no intention of ever playing again if you're looking for players.

from memory Crawford was a promising prospect at Chester, but would Wrexham fans accept a former Chester player

Not on a wind up with this but Crawford turned down a loan move to them last season for the same reason. So that looks a non-starter.

He still has promise, I thought he looked ok pre season but Ardley likes strong physical players, Crawford can look a little languid.
If we can take Forest players, Wrexham in a hole you'd think would take Chester players.

you took Ryan Yates on loan a couple of seasons ago didn't you? - we had him on loan the 1st half of that season

We had a player on the books turn down a loan this summer, most thought it was Tootle but maybe it was Crawford. Either way he's not going to play for us so he needs to get his career moving somehow.

Crawford's still often seen in Chester, he's from up the road to me.

We were after him back last season but couldn't do the wages you wanted from us.

We had him from the start of 17/18 season. He was fantastic for us, Forest took him back at Christmas and our form nose dived, we crept into the play offs from being second when he left. Also had Jorge Grant from the red pigs at the same time, also crucial to us that year.

Would rather not have a racist.

We've had plenty of ex Chester players over the years.

We've had a million of them in the past, some great players too.

I think we've just hit the lowest low of the season. Chesterfield are bloody awful.

We are absolutely abysmal and have players who don't give a shite and would easily take us down which makes January a huge month, we need about half a team to come in. Keates needs to be on the blower ready. Oswell should never be seen again, off back to the Welsh Prem that lad.

Literally the only target now is to stay up.

We are horrendous, and somehow we’ve managed two away wins in a row against 2 other horrendous sides.

Such a fun league

This is getting worrying. Wrexham have had a horrible start. We may see them more likely to escape this division in the wrong direction. Im sure they will pick up but a National League, blue square Premier, Vanarama National Manarama National, etc would not be the same without one its founder members and mainstays. Sort it out Wrexham!

We do. Because we are a 'foreign' club we are governed by the International transfer window and can't register players outside of this.

Is that because Wrexham are regulated by the Welsh FA as opposed to the English FA? If so can the club not transfer over to the English FA so it's on the same footing as the rest of the division.

Yep. People need to give up on any fantasy of a play-off push after a change of manager. We are in absolute dire straits.

It could be money for nothing though if we go down.
