Nice goal. I think Waterfalls against us was slightly better though. Have you got your players heading medicine balls so that they can hammer headers from 20 yards out?

I did notice from the highlights of our game at your place that your corner delivery looked very good, flat and quick. Ours have been rubbish this year so far, floated in and easy to defend against.

I'd love to know how he'd even know who I was on the Halifax forum as my username is different to the one on here for one and I've got better things to do with my time than join the fans forum of every team we play against haha
Because you write the same shite on there as you do on here, John. It's not rocket science. :ffs::dk::fl:

You’re not missing much, only 2 or 3 replies to you pretty much every day.
He’s started telling everybody now about stuff you post on the Halifax forum and today about you posting on Stockport’s forum as if anyone else cares other than him.
When you're done trying to get in his underpants, can you come and sort this sink out, landlord!:fl:

Rusk needs to be put out of his misery. The guy is seriously crap. I knew the game was up at 1-0.

My first trip to Halifax. Enjoyed it apart from our performance.
So you saw The Shay, did you see any of our town's other crown jewels? The Piece Hall? The Gibbet? The Minster? The Town Hall? The indoor Borough Market? Dean Clough Mills? Shibden Hall? The stocks at Illingworth Gaol? My pad? We're West Yorkshire's Capital of Culture you know. :bdick:

12 points from 7 games so not a bad start. We have had some tough games in fact we have already played 4 of the top 8.
Team still settling and we will definitely spend some more pennies in January.
It's a tough league with 4 or 5 sides than can win the league

Stockport doing that man lying down behind the wall total nonsense again. Bloke then proceeds to just strike it wide of the wall at low level and into the net.

Even I'm angry for their fans. The evil that is Rusk must go. You know it'll be this week too.

The delivery is all Alex Hunt, the 21 year old CM we've got on loan from The Wendies. Was listening to a podcast with Giles Coke on and he was saying that he just knew he was a good player from the way he fizzes the ball into the box. They've got him lined up as their Barry Bannan by all accounts. We've definitely got a decent threat from set pieces this season with the height in the side and Hunt's ability. It won us a pen vs Barnet as few weeks back too.

I called Hunt a coup when we signed him and got laughed at but he’s proved to be just that, real classy player and we’re lucky to have him. Only here til Jan though and I worry about our chances to keep him, same with Rylee Towler

Was that om The Fishy? Get that dredged back up and rub their faces in it!

I reckon we've got a better chance with Hunt as I don't think he'll be playing much for them and I can see them potentially not wanting to rock the boat by sending him elsewhere, plus we're localish and he's playing alongside a former Wednesday player...or maybe I'm optimistically holiding onto these and they're actually trivial factors.

Bristol City might well want to send Towler somewhere else closer to them though, I'd imagine.

The worry with Hunt is that those bastards from Wednesday have been coming to our games every week and plastering it all over Twitter how good he is. Saw another Wednesday shirt yesterday which was weird given they played at home yesterday

Free kick so close to the edge of the box that struck with power to the keepers side. I thought at the time he got a hand to it but I was down the other end so I can't be sure. Maybe he should have saved that. Blinded by his own wall I suspect.

I don’t mean to be dramatic but quite how we managed to sign John McAtee is completely beyond me, he’s absolutely bloody brilliant. Came on today and changed the game completely (and then missed a penalty). We had some great players down here last time and he’s cementing his name right up at the top.

Another 3 points and whilst Chesterfield and Notts wank themselves into oblivion about their start, Grimsby quietly go about their own business.

Eastleigh were absolutely shite

Can you please provide examples of where either Notts County or Chesterfield fans have wanked themselves into oblivion over their starts? From what I have seen both have pretty much accepted they haven’t had the toughest starts and expressed cautious optimism thus far. Indeed, I would argue that there has been more wanking into oblivion coming from the Cleethorpes region, than either N Derbys or Nottingham, over both the Mariners’ start, and their alleged ‘sell out’ attendances.

Also, can you please tell me how many goals John McAfee has scored from open play?

I look forward to your responses.

Thanks.

TRIGGERED. I’m hearing a lot of noises coming from Chesterfield in particular despite them playing pub sides.

Worth noting that John McAtee isn’t a striker which I’m sure is actually news to you given you asked that question. He’s still managed a goal contribution (goal or assist) in 4 of the 6 games he’s played in and perhaps most crucially of all, dominates the game.

Not quite sure how you can attempt to judge a player you’ve never seen play.

Having seen the goals online. There wasn’t much power, it wasn’t in the corner, he wasn’t positioned correctly and he still shop have stopped.

So the common way on this forum is just to talk bollocks, and when someone calls you up on it just say 'TRIGGERED'

I’m not sure how exactly one would go about ‘wanking themselves into oblivion’ but I can confirm I would like to try.

I'm obviously a glutton for punishment as I'm going to Solihull, Daggers and Boreham Wood away..

Thank you for your reply, much quicker than I was expecting. Is that none, then?

Our start hasn’t been too tricky either tbh, only played 3 in the top half and only one of the top 7. I’d be interested to see us against Devonshire United and Bromley because games against shithouse teams are where we usually come unstuck. On saying that, we’ve been the better side in every game so far, except maybe Stockport and that was fairly even. Our fans are also in hysterics tbf, we’re 6 games into the season ffs. Should only really judge teams 15 games into a season when ability replaces form.

Yesterday showed that we can still play fine but McAtee is the one that really makes us tick and I would hate to be reliant on one player. Great player but never going to be the divisions top scorer. Erico Sousa is the one who’s caught my eye, consistency defines a winger and he has been consistently shit-hot.
