Just seen the highlights. Summerfield's straight red card was a complete joke, we need to appeal it.

The highlights of the 'penalty' doesn't show anything either, there's literally nothing after watching it 100 times. Must be something that happens as soon as the player takes the corner. No appeals from any Sutton player.

I've just seen the incident of Halifax's first sending off.
The defender clearly stood on Kioso's head while he was on the floor, could have avoided it but didn't.
Great spot by the lino.

Whilst I agree it was clumsy by Brown it’s clearly not intentional. Also, the ref told our manager that he made the decision apparently despite him being oblivious to what actually happened and playing on for a good 5 seconds after the incident. I do think on balance of play against 11 men you were the better team and deserved the win but imo the referee ruined an intriguing football match by wanting to be the centre of attention. This was the same ref who last season when we played Wrexham away, sent a Wrexham player off yet didn’t realise they still had 11 men on the pitch and played on for a good 5 minutes until finally realising his error. Seen plenty of other fans also mention him as a standout as one of the worst refs they’ve seen in non league. However, decisions balance themselves over the course of the season and I’m sure Hartlepool will receive the short end of the stick again at some point. In the same notion, I’m sure we will have a game where we get lucky with decisions and it aids us to victory. So with that being that we’ve just got to move on and accept you won and we lost. All we can do is react positively now.

Are Hartlepool the most graceless winners in the National League:

1) YES
2) ABSOLUTELY
3) YOU BETCHA
4) THEY ONCE HUNG A MONKEY AS A FRENCH SPY UP THERE, SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT

Definitely, it's so nailed on. They'll finish with 110 points or something stupid.

I think we'll find ourselves in an eliminator come the end of the season. Orient will finish in 2nd or 3rd.
Yep, been saying this all season. If not for scummy $alford I would be very confident that top spot would be ours - we look really good this season.

As it is the profligate game ruiners will buy their way to 1st and we will finish 2nd, easily breezing into the play off final before losing to someone absolutely dross like Sutton, or maybe Wrexham. :D

I think everyone had worked that out. That all you got in your locker? See you next season. :fl:

You wanna talk about graceless fans when you have what I presume is an adult posting this after the big bad ref makes some poor decisions against his favourite football team in the whole wide world..

Doing the whole Ole against 9 men. Pathetic fucking monkey murdering fucktards. I started off today thinking I'd be pleased if Hartlepool went up based on the away support. Now i hope they get a taste of how hard it is down here without the parachute payment nipple to suck on and get stuck in the 5th tier wilderness with Wrexham for years.

Is Halifax and Hartlepool this season's bizarre rivalry? There seemed to be a different one every season down here.

It's like Carlisle all over again. Everyone wants to be our rivals. Anyone else while we're at it? AFC Sudbury? Partizan Belgrade? TNS? Braintree? Wellington Pheonix?

Bit of a joke for the Sutton penalty and Wrexham's red.

Good spot by the ref in the Halifax/Hartlepool game.

We've said we're appealing the Red card.

Very difficult to see on what the pen is given for amongst all those players and from where the camera is. It looked harsh at the time and still does

But that should still not take away from us being crap, and Sutton still deserving the win.

Pearson had been warned prior to the corner about shirt pulling particularly on Charlie Clough so perhaps the ref spotted that

The red looked harsh on the highlights, Dos said it was harsh as well

You're the only set of losers that had to apply for re-election more times than we did, so I wouldn't get too snitty about it if I were you. :ds:

And Crewe as we've discussed before, but that was the old Halifax, nothing to do with this one.

One and the same pal. If you're not happy about that, take it up with the FA. :ds:

Never realised how shite Halifax’s crest is. Stick both of those on the tinpot thread that font is appalling. Does Halifax not have a coat of arms it could use?
Pretty much every fan of the club hates it including me. Looks like something created on Microsoft paint. This is our coat of arms which I would much prefer we used

I mean even that looks like it was the winner of a 1990’s Blue Peter ‘Design a City Crest’ competition

Halifax rugby have the right idea.

Halifax Town need a new crest ASAP. Makes the club look tacky imo.

What are the 5 stars for above the Halifax crest for? 5 World Cup wins?

I've been telling him this for years now.
And I've been telling you the same. If you'd taken my advice you'd know what you were talking about. The FA ruled in 2008 that we are NOT a new club. If your not happy about that, take it up with them. That's all I've got to say, or indeed need to say, on the matter. :ds:
