Yeah, completely different side in the second half. All players got 45 mins and no injuries which is probably the best result. Not a great scoreline though!

No idea if we even had a friendly - the 2 teams we were rumoured to be playing ended up playing each other (Boreham Wood & Dartford).

Boreham Wood 0 Dartford 1 was the score - so not great for BW either

Anyone know what the Brackley - Slough result was? Anyone any idea what the Brackley team was or who we have got signed up? You'd think the club website might be able to tell us one or two details wouldn't you...

If open air theaters are now open, couldn't the grounds open with a reduced number of spectators allowed and social distance measures in place?

Believe it was a non-externally refereed game (both sides officials sharing the reffing) - a practice game rather than a friendly, really, just to work out the rust. Judging by Wilkin`s tone in interview, either he picked up some injuries or is struggling to get XI on the pitch, never mind five subs. I am relaxed about the outcome - would be a helluva coup for 11/12 players to get past fully resourced sides in the mix.

Apparently we (Halifax) lost to either Alty or York 2-0 according to different sources. No one seems sure on which one it was or any details on what sort of team/teams we put out etc

Indeed - yet judging from some of the other sides funding raising to be able to play (e.g. Chester) it's costing a fair bit of money to compete...

Stockport County.
Anyone who's watching these play-offs or taking part in them should be investigated by the some kind of special Police force because there is definitley grounds for further investigation into the hard drives of these people.

Non league games behind closed doors and streamed on Bt Website is it? It's creepy.

Thank fuck we turned down our spot so we could do it properly next year.

According to our forum, you lost 2-0 to Altrincham on Saturday and are playing us today so perhaps that's where the confusion came from.

We've been training today so unless it's a night game I doubt it

It'll be Altrincham, we always lose to them.

Unless it's a cup tie.

Really really hope York come up (not only if we stay down), it's been too long since we had our derbies.
Although I was BITTERLY disappointed in one York fan when we played them in a friendly in Neil Aspin's first pre-season, in our second year as a reformed club. Arrogance and disdain just oozed out of every pore as he explained to his young daughter how "they USED to be in the Conference" (where York were), as though it was in his dim and distant youth, rather than 18 months prior. How he squirmed and cried foul as James Dean ripped them apart and they lost to a side 3 leagues below them in the Unibond First Division North. :ds:

Rumours of pricing structures out.... also: any of you tekkies out there able to translate into English phrases like "Sportradar will provide transcoding and content storage solutions for the platform`s video player" and "supporters will be able to view on connected TVs via Chromecast" ?

Chromecast is a device made by Google that lets you send video from your phone or computer to your TV screen.

They seem to be implying that the only way you can watch the games on a TV screen, as opposed to your phone or laptop, is by using a Chromecast (or the much clunkier HDMI cable), so it looks like BT Sport won't be showing them.

Boreham Wood have named keeper Reice Charles-Cook in their playoff squad, who has just been released by Macclesfield.

Are they allowed to do this? Nathan Ashmore is suspended for their first playoff game, have they been given special dispensation to sign a second senior keeper for tomorrow's match day squad so they don't have to put a youth team keeper on the bench?

Seems overly generous of the NL if so. Or maybe Halifax can look forward to a 3-0 default if he is ineligible...

Steve King has said he made the decision to release goalkeeper Mark Smith, and has signed Preston Edwards as back up.

We drew 3-3 against Boston. split 1st and 2nd half teams again. NA says we are now looking very sharp up front over the last week but we have to work more in our own box.

thats why hes the manager i guess ahahaha

Press conference from our manager ahead of the play off game tomorrow. "If you're expecting to see the same product as you did before lockdown, I think that would be madness. The players are in nowhere near the same condition. " Fair comment that goes for everyone else as well. He says we have 18-19 players training but not all fully fit after injury.

On the play off game: "They can sometimes be a bit of a bad spectacle for people watching outside and I think that drives my open-mindedness to the performance and to what we can expect" So in a nutshell don't be surprised if it's a shit game.

Interestingly all of our squad have been living at Huish Park for the last 3 weeks to minimise the chance of someone becoming infected with Covid 19. They've stayed there day and night. No idea where they've slept, the carpet in the Alec Stock Lounge is quite plush so sleeping bags in there I reckon.

Halifax poach an opener from a long ball. Careless defending and meek goalkeeping. Was just about to say that Wood look much the better side.
