Some fucking answers required. 7000 average 4500 st sold £1.5 million in 2 players sold...If we have made a "loss" clearly something is wrong on a £1.6 mill playing budget.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Richardson given it full time, he did a good job at Accrington before too. Don't think James Beattie would be a bad appointment, he didn't do a bad job at Stanley, fair enough he struggled at the start of this season, but considering the budget he had he did well the season before.

I'd like Hill but like Rochdale and their fans it'd be with a heavy heart. I believe he should stay there maybe seems to click for him.

Think Dean Saunders gets an unfair rep at times. Yes the Wolves job was too big for him but he almost kept a hideously crap Crawley side up, the state Crawley were in was no fault of his own at all the poor bastard.

Leam Richardson 2/1
Dean Saunders 5/1
Brian Deane 5/1
Darren Ferguson 6/1
James Beattie 6/1
Danny Wilson 8/1
Nigel Adkins 8/1

I'll be honest, bar Leam, any of the others, i'd be forcing myself to find positives.

Not that I won't be giving them my full support who ever it is.

You wouldn't take Adkins?

Someone I would be very interested in, yes. Doubt it's something that we'll make any moves towards, let alone make happen though.
DA will take the cheap option, whatever that may be

My choices in order of preference: Richardson (though I believe he's following Cook), Hill, Humphreys, ... Lester.

Not sure if Adkins is genuinely on the radar, I wouldn't mind him either.

He was terrible for us.

Relegation and then we wouldn't have gone back up if the black Country didn't take him. Thank god for the wolfs...

If Saunders ends up getting it I'm 100% using my season ticket money to feed a drug addiction.

My gut feeling is he won't, though. Thankfully.

Apparently the players want Richardson and he's keen to take it (contradicting stories saying he'll follow PC) but the chairman isn't keen on the idea.

Also Cook's delay in doing the deal is in the hope that Sheffield United come knocking before pen is put to paper.

Just listening to the podcast...Tooley says Richardson is going with Cook.

I know it's a gamble, but personally, i think the club needs a Jack Lester sized sticking plaster right now.

It'd lift the mood for sure.

Continue the Sligo Rovers connection and go for Owen Heary.

Redfearn was at the game the other night. As was Jimmy FH & assorted out of work bosses including Mickey Adams.

Because of the way all this has come about, I get the feeling some fans are going to have a pretty short fuse when the new season starts. Whoever gets it is going to be under pressure from them to deliver from the off. What will the expectation be though?

The board have undoubtedly got some bridges to build with the supporters.

Why, do we need saving from relegation with 2 months to go?

Keith Hill if we can pry him away from Dale or someone fresh and upcoming like Cook was.
Martin Allen has won two championships in the last three years.
Hardly 'fire fighting'.

I'd certainly consider Redfearn if he wanted it. The Leeds fans i know have been impressed with the job he's done in difficult circumstances.

Richardson has gone as well then.

I'm not too fussed by that, decent guy but would always get compared to PC if he stayed.

FWIW, my shouts are Jack, Redfearn, Adkins...after that i really can't think of anyone who fits the profile for the type of club we've become. Sean O'Driscoll maybe?
