He is the third longest serving manager in the country for fuck sake, why would he leave when he's just become a manager at a CHAMPIONSHIP club? :)

I wouldnt leave if i was him not a fucking chance. He'd have to be mentally ill

Apparently this guy is a sports Journo: https://twitter.com/SimonHughes68

Says first round of interviews with board, Megson hasn't ruled himself out, Alan Curbishley in the frame along with Chris Coleman and apparently Karly Robinson talks "very highly of Sheffield United, he has family up here and we could match his wage demands". Also reckons we've spoken to Allardyce but hes decided its too soon for him to get back into football.

Also seen lots of rumors suggesting the manager is all but dotting i's and crossing t's which goes against this...and Megson  no chance!

I'd love to see Curbishley back in management. He's been out of it for far too long, sort of his own fault for holding out for the Prem job that never came though.

"Kyle McFadzean was all but a done deal until the sacking of Nigel Clough, transfer is on hold but a deal is said to be agreed."

Gives him some credibility as that rumor was doing the rounds quite a bit...although he couldve just used that to make him seem credible. Meh, sod knows.

But what about the influx of more ex-Derby players?!? Where will Shaun Barker, Tom Naylor, and Mark O'Brien go now? :(

Da fucks a Twitter handle? Just saw he was apparently a Sports journo and has quite a few followers tbf although I know FA about twitter. Does come across as just listing any manager he thinks of though

Twitter handle = username.

To be honest you can buy followers quite easily. I remember when Chelsea's Twitter account bought followers and when you buy followers the site automatically tweets out a message from your account saying 'go to ..... for cheap Twitter followers'. I think they had difficulty deleting it too.

Yeah I was never getting that one, whooosh!?

Sounding more likely it'll be Adkins which would be great, not gonna get overly excited yet though.

Think hes done that with us before.

Gonna stick with Adkins on this one, more than just odds falling from what I can tell...and hope.

Adkins would be a decent appointment for United, did good jobs at Scunthorpe and Southampton, didn't work out at Reading but I thought it was the wrong job for him at the time. Hope you don't go for Megson, he'd probably get you promoted.

Id never step foot in the place again if megson took charge. It was bad enough appointing wilson but megson actually supports you he doesnt like us nor us him.it would be a shocking appointment for everyone.
