Seen a picture on twitter of Alty at Guiseley and looks around the hundred figure mark. Borehamwood at Eastleigh I can't find anywhere, but nigh on two mini buses suggests it wouldn't have been many, so I'll say around 70…

Interesting stats Yellow. Will you be posting one for each set of games this season?

I'm going to try to, Les, but it may be a bit more difficult when I start uni again next month.

Quite impressed with Aldershot's support last night. Good numbers and a decent atmosphere for most of the game. It lulled in the second half a bit, but this was understandable as the game was petering to a 0-0 draw.

Headcount 39 Harriers at Dover, though it was unsegregated so bound to be a few folks in the seats..

Cheltenham aren't a team I know that much about. Is 2500 about normal for your home attendance?

Slight correction to your post.
But yes, the young lads at the front made a decent effort to both get there and create some noise.

For a Tuesday night it is probably more than we were expecting. We tended to average around 3,000 in the League, but that dropped significantly over the last couple of years.

Saturday will be the acid test. I don't know how well Southport travel, but I suspect it's not very well, so home numbers will be important. If we can maintain over 2,000 I'll be happy.

I see. Thanks.

When clubs come down I find it useful to see how big they are relative to others in the league, at least as far as fanbase goes. If nothing else it let's you guesstimate how many away fans to expect!

Get used to small away followings! Unfortunately for you most of the bigger travelling contingents seem to be from the northern teams. Grimsby seem to travel well wherever they go though, as long as they keep winning...

Depending on how we're doing we'll take between 100-300 wherever we go. We took 255 to Lincoln on Saturday, which surprised me slightly, if we're doing well I suspect similar numbers will travel to Wrexham.

Will look forward to it!

Will be good to see Danny Wright Wright Wright again, unless he scores!

1795 tickets available for Lincoln away but with 2450 season ticket holders they are going on sale with a strict one for one sale from Saturday, what's the chances they are sold out well before going on sale to others.

They should stick the Lincoln fans in the away end and give us the rest of the ground. :woo::whistle:

In all seriousness though is there a reason you couldn't give us say another 500 in the old away stand or somewhere, I imagine we could sell them easily and it's more money in your coffers.

Not really because then you're split and it'd cause a headache with policing. Since away fans got the 'home' end, the family/school area has moved into the old away seats and everything got changed.

You get more tickets now than you did in the Co-op stand I think?

Yep, I would say 100%
A few of us were on about this at work earlier saying we had no chance of a ticket, so we are gonna do Southport instead at the end of September, already can't wait for it! :) :)

Book online and go in a home stand if you've a non-Gy address, I've done it at Scunny several times.

We have a pretty good away support, one of the best in the league I would say!, normally we bring about 300-400 most games, but in rivalries, like Fylde, Chester and FC United we take at least 1000 (Chester aren't in our league any more but we still hate them!) Home attendances are also very good, 1000 every week, we play in the conference north so attendances aren't as big but some are still big

It was a decent attendance but the atmosphere was very disappointing from your end, considering it was your first home game of the season.
Whaddon Road is one of my favourite grounds in this league though, love the away end and how close you get to the pitch. Was a very enjoyable evening.

We've never had that much of an atmosphere, and even when the terrace behind the goal does get rocking (and it has been epic at times) the roof means that any noise is pretty much kept inside.

Blame the Celtic fiasco guys, the last team to get over 2000 tickets was florist in the fa cup

Well I've got mine - for me and the two kids - so that makes it 1798 Gy fans, although we won't be wearing black and white shirts ;)
