Protest against Sainsbury's unwillingness to pay up having signed a contract to buy the Mem - money would allow us to move to new ground.

Is it correct that the only access permitted, if Sainsbury did build a store on the ground, would be up the hill into the area where the away fans watch the game? Someone mentioned that to me when we played there earlier in the season, but I thought that it sounded like complete rubbish as surely an entrance could be made at the top, above the car park.

86 on a Saturday.

That says it all about how our club is right now.

620 Grimsby fans at Welling, in a crowd of 1042 (?).

Yeah, it's not easy to make a spot estimate by sight so I did use the announced attendance as a guide.

Would have been about my guess too. Hard to see how many empty away seats from other end though.

Thought atmosphere was decent at start of the game then the game itself killed the atmosphere. Do you always have Wannabe hooligans near the tunnel giving it big un all game or is it just against us?

Why? 620 is average in our position with our fan base. 1000 would have been decent.
Are you for real?
4 of our last 5 games have been away and last 3 have been Woking, Dover and Welling!
Do you think our fans have money growing out of their arses to go to all these games?
I think you need a little re-think on just how big you think we are!!

Many of those at all 3 would have been exiles; our away average is in excess of 500 and at the arse end of the season with a sniff at the title it is about what I'd expect- not spectacular, certainly not bad. Made plenty of noise though as usual.

Not that it matters, but ive seen 3 different estimates of us having 250 at Dover, but you have it down as 178. Will only add 3.5 to our average I know!!

3.5   You know what, if it's that much, I'll sprint down to Dover first thing tomorrow and knock their doors down for a figure ;)

Seriously though, someone on here said 178 but I'll change it to 250 because the first one wasn't confirmed, just from a banter page on Facebook ffs :ffs:

Given the season we've had, our figures are very impressive. 5th highest away despite looking down the table for most of the season is very good. As a % of our home gates our away support has been excellent, although that figure is inflated due to our poor home crowds I think.

Our average will probably stay around where it is through the last 3 games, although Forest Green is our tour of duty so we may take 300-400 despite it being on TV. Braintree probably have 200-300 and Grimsby will be around 150 I would expect.

Think we'll end up at 900ish after taking 2,600 and possibly 2,000 plus to dover
