You'd be surprised. Has happened to my knowledge in Germany, Holland and Belgium (away support of over 2,500 at that level)....but there will be alot more. Also remember, England has fewer leagues per tier (England doesn't really have a pyramid of football till tier 7) than most countries so comparisons are difficult.
Number of leagues by tier
Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3 Tier 4 Tier 5
Germany 1 1 1 5 14
Netherlands 1 1 2 6 11
Belgium 1 1 2 4 9
England 1 1 1 1 1
Load of rubbish, average attendances at level 4 and 5 in Germany is 300, no figures for Holland or Belgium at level 5 but its only 600 at levels 3 and 4 in Holland, while in Belgium its down to 2000 at level 2, so I repeat your talking rubbish. Only England, the crucible of the game, in all the world has that kind of support at these levels

We have been allocated 2300 tickets for Southport away, we will probably sell them out too if we still have a chance at the title by then.

Game I was talking about in the 4th tier regional league in Germany.
As for the away crowds, I said I had seen them (e.g. Spakenburg v Ijselmeervogels in NL and Beerschot Wilrijk when in the provincial league in Belgium. I didn't say they were common place.

A bit off-topic, but has anyone seen who's about to be promoted to Serie A? A team that has already had 3 promotions in 4 seasons and has a ground capacity of 4,400. That's the equivalent of Alfreton playing in the Premier League in 2020

Hard to guess, we've been giving a lot of our fringe players a game and experimenting new formations so suspect a few that would have gone won't bother. Probably around 200.

Good luck for the season

Looked much more than 348, there must have been about 400 in the terrace alone!

Not seen anything about us at Braintree, only 650 there apparently. Their average is circa 850 this season so can't really guess that well but we're usually good for at least 100-125 down south.

Eibar are already in La Liga with an average attendance of 4,500 or so and a capacity of 5200.

In some parts of Europe the amount of top teams is such a joke that teams that do a Fleetwood/Crawley get pretty far.

As said by Gasheads above, it was a great turnout by Chester fans today. Well done to all who travelled for what was essentially a meaningless game for them.

Someone on vitals put 50 but would of thought a few more than that.

Our programme has us down as taking 432 to Alfreton. Barnet fans were directed to enter via the Alma Street turnstiles and I think they counted everyone who came in that way.

Us fans in the Main stand are to thank for getting us a point today ;)
In injury time their player came to take a throw in and someone threw the ball at him, so he jogged on doing 2 1 on his fingers, so we were all shouting 'where are you in the league you fucking prick/tosser/dickhead' etc, then when the throw is taken he just loses the fucking plot and flies in 2 footed on the touchline and gets a 2nd booking.
Then 2 minutes later we score, well done Main Stand...... ;)

Edit oops put in wrong thread!! :ffs:

As noted above, a group of around 50 Harriers fans (and two Telford fans) walked from Kidderminster to Telford yesterday. I just wanted to give a little more info on why this was. This was is memory of Charlotte May Pountney, daughter of two Harriers supporters, who was born sleeping at full term in June last year. During the aftermath, the parents were supported by a local charity named Towards Tomorrow Together who aim to relieve the distress by parents that lose a baby during pregnancy, birth or as an infant by providing a variety of resources and services.

To show their appreciation, the Pountney's arranged for the group to walk the 35 miles to Telford yesterday raising money to support the charity, leaving Aggborough at 6am on Good Friday and the final group arriving at the New Bucks Head at 9pm on Friday.

They are currently just short of their target of £15,000.00, so if anyone would like to donate, please feel free, either by going onto https://www.justgiving.com/walktelford, or texting KHFC50 and the amount to 70070.

Bristol Rovers fans - just to let you know, there will be a bucket collection at our match tomorrow and any donations will be most welcome.

We've got 116 of us booked on the 08:42 from parkway tomorrow and that seems like the most popular train everyone's getting. Probably 500 fans on that train... Just found out its a small train with 2 Carriages. The whole day is gonna be madness

In some parts of Europe the amount of top teams is such a joke that teams that do a Fleetwood/Crawley get pretty far.

Very true, but many leagues aren't that competitive with only two or three teams likely to be crowned Champions, and outside that handful there are teams who play in front of pretty poor crowds. There are of course a few exceptions, England and Germany, where all teams in the top league are well supported and that tends to extend to lower levels. However, the sorts of crowds we get in the Conference, particularly the likes of Luton and Bristol Rovers in recent seasons, would be totally unheard of almost anywhere in the fifth tier.

A bit similar to us tomorrow. Only one train an hour to Sheffield (need to change there for Alfreton) and I know people on the 7:34, 8:34, 9:34 and 10:34. It might not be that bad going but it's going to be a nightmare coming home as everyone will be on the same train I would have thought. I often go on the train but I've got a lift tomorrow as I can see it being carnage!

Some can avoid all that by coming back via Nottingham, last train via Lincoln to Grimsby is at 1817
