According to the EFL twitter in the Summer the most anticipated game in League 2 this...

Recently County have always been good for 3 points but go into this on the back of 10 defeats whilst we have back to back wins in the league. I see the takeover is complete so no doubt a few more will turn up Saturday now and it will be a much more positive atmosphere for County to play in.

7-6, Alan Smith OG in the 104th min to win it for us.

You'll win and it will be embarrasing for Notts. I reckon it could be in the 5 - 6 bracket. We can't defend and the players can't be arsed. We've got no chance basically. Even the whole "derby games are different" doesn't apply here. The players can't be fucked

Loving the police already "suggesting" where fans should go.

Like last season, cheers for the advice, but we'll be alright thanks.

We have an owner! Now just a manager, some players and the fans to come back. Probably unlikely in three days.

If the players can't be bothered as mentioned previously, it will be a long afternoon for the 'Pies. Surely the players will try to impress the new owner? At least try to make a game of it as it's a derby?

I win muchos money if Mansfield hammer us so I hope they hammer us, ideally by more than 3 goals for the jackpot

Banana skin all over this though.

New chairman, new manager (sort of) underdogs with a big losing streak that has to finish sooner rather than later, and form does not exactly mean much in a local derby a lot of the time.

Gunna go for 2-2 and chuck a few quid on it.

1-3 after notts take a surprise lead. If we set out right with collins, who's been on fire lately, playing defensive mid and are solid at the back then Byrom, Whitman and hamilton will be able to make things happen up front.

Yoann to score against his old club?

I honestly hope we hammer them. If we play as well as we have been doing, which isn't that great, but take our chances this could be another big score. We should of beat crewe by 5 or 6 if we didn't keep missing sitters. COYS!

Regarding the new chairman, I wish him and Notts county all the best. Some stability would be required and certainly not out of the woods on many fronts.

They've been a laughing stock for too long - even compared to us - and we've had a long, long hinstory of being a joke of a club. They're fortunate that they may benefit from how we did 2 seasons ago when we finished 22nd - we were totally wank - maybe not this bad, but terrible - but somehow survived on 43 points (I think) because tranmere and Cheltenham(again) were that bad, we somehow survived. Maybe Notts might do this and escape?

Regarding Saturday, already 3,100 tickets sold so a nice payday for the new chairman coming in, that's for sure. If we can push this on to 3,500 it would be a fantastic achievement.

Either that or he'll get sent off.

He's actually looked pretty alright away at blackpool and then against crewe. I didn't hold much expectation from what others said... What can be expected from previous?

Yoann on his day was brilliant. But that was about once a month. Rest of the games he would just sulk and not concentrate, or just try and dribble round every player for the sake of it.

Liked a night out on the piss a bit too much

Looks like Howkins will be out injured, Which unless we sign a RB probably means Collins back in at Centre back :(

Looking forward to this one. Lots of spice about it. Obviously, the hosts have everything going off and a dreadful current run; whilst we are building a little unbeaten run and will take healthy backing. However, even though the odds look stacked in our favour, for the points, we aren't yet looking convincing enough to take anything for granted, and in derbies form gets chucked through the window.

Promises to be an occasion.

They say form goes out the window in a local derby, let's bloody hope so.

It wasn't long, but definitely longer than that. Two or three months.

Had a quick gander online and he was recalled after three appearances according to the Bolton forum.

Maybe then, I can't really remember. He just stands out in my mind as one of those random loanees everyone has all the time who was particularly dreadful.

Yeah three games, and to be fair he seems to be rated elsewhere.

Hopefully he's decent anyway.

We had a kid called Kaiyne Woolery at the same time who was equally shit and I think has done alright for himself since, so he'll probably be fine.

We've had many terrible loanees over the years but Hayden White is in the top 3 easily for me. He was genuinely fucking terrible and seems to be one of those players that continually gets signed, does shit and then finds another club willing to take him on.

His ability was encapsulated by a game I went to which was away at Doncaster (The Great Balint Bajner's debut) - Muzzy Dumbuya was coming back from injury (naturally) and couldn't play games back-to-back so we rested him and White played...White was ceremoniously hooked off and replaced by Dumbuya at half-time IIRC. White then followed it up by a comical home display and that was him done - I've never seen a player with so little understanding of stuff like where he needs to stand and on the very rare occasion he was in position by mistake, he then made some ridiculously bad attempt to mark or tackle a winger.

We've had lots of loanees over recent years and many I've completely forgotten but White's short stint was one that was impossible to forget.

Luckily, he'll be tasked with stopping a duo of Carl Dickinson and Rob Milsom on Saturday so he'll be fine because Jscob & I would pose a bigger attacking threat.
