2-1 away at Aldershot, apparently it was our First XI but a bunch of them are crocked…which is fricking annoying as we started last season with a bunch of injuries too.

And the updated table. Next Monday will be the final table - any friendlies after Sunday will not count.

I demand that the top 4 sides enter into a playoff to determine the champion of this hugely prestigious award should the table stay as it is.

If we drop out of the top 4 however, then meh.

All goes wrong tomorrow at Millwall, then Aberdeen at the weekend to put the final nail in the coffin.

We played Braga on the 22nd and lost 3-2....think it was a normal match and we fielded mainly senior players

Thought I'd mention it before any of the Northampton fans started accusing us of cheating our way to the top :box:
Good point well made. If only we snatched a draw we would have been 7 (seven) points clear of them... :bye:

I knew I missed one - and I saw it all over Twitter as well at the time!!

Will add the score and update the table accordingly.

We're at Wimbledon tonight and away to Bristol City on Saturday. We need others to slip up now to break into the autos. Can't see it happening.

Hopefully Saturday will be a blood and thunder game with both sides suffering knocks

Lost 4-0 to Bristol City.
We are also playing Weston today, so it was half a side. Even so..

We've played Huddersfield behind closed doors at their place- no confirmation on either side regarding the score.

A couple of Huddersfield fans have said Derby won 4-1, but no idea how they would know. Huddersfield did stress they used 22 players, we don't have 22 players to play, so can assume it was our strongest side for 90 minutes to get minutes in their legs.

Grimsby away for us tonight. Looks like it's more of a Lincoln XI as the first team played at Crewe on Saturday and MK will be using Saturday's fixture at home to Rotherham for the first team ahead of the season opener.

Only 6 outfield players on the bench tonight compared with 12 Everton

Johnston, Season, Toal a couple of weeks and Bodvarrson about 3 weeks.......John no idea why he is not included unless he is off.....Same for Sadlier

See another 2/3 signing before we kick off against Lincoln

Guessing this will be the last time we play Fleetwood in a friendly, a team of absolute weapons.

Broom sent off for a bad challenge of Lewis Leigh who has gone off injured, very classy going over the top and potentially ruining a 19yr old lad's season. Absolutely no surprise considering the piece of shit who manages them who made a career of cowardly challenges. Brown was also booked for arguing with the refs... in a friendly.

Patrick Bauer also forced off because of a sly elbow that caught his nose and won't stop bleeding.

Just pointless shit in pre-season game.

We did have a BCD friendly with Accy today however not totally sure of the scoreline as neither them or ourselves have stated that. Only thing mentioned on our Twitter was an academy lad scored for us and the Accy equivalent mentioning someone scored for them so am guessing it was 1-1 but nothing confirmed. Also no mention on how the game was set up so obviously this is of massive use to yourself Si Robin

I can’t help getting the hint Vale are not serious about competing in this. Hopefully saving it all up for the mid-table trophy.

Game has gone to pieces, no shock as that useless clown Jeremy Simpson is the ref, who has completely lost control. One of our kids, Seary, has been sent off now.

Shhhhhhhh don’t tell our Twitter fans that they think we’ve got the league won already because we’re beating you 2-0. :bg:

We've all got our priorities.

I'll do some more digging in the morning but if I can't find anything we'll consider it scrubbed.

Lincoln fans - am I including your game against Grimsby or is it an XI playing with less than 6 first-teamers?

Don't tell Grimsby fans, but less than 6 first teamers. Although they all mostly came on from 60 mins.

Starting line up
Wright (sub keeper)
Eyoma (back up defender)
Ahui (youngster)
Smith (likely to be starting next season)
Gallagher (youngster)
Kendall (youngster)
Makama (youngster)
Duffy (youngster from Ireland, played a few games last season)
3x Trialist
