Not really been any word on Dack, which suits us fine. Situation is pretty clear really, either someone gives us £3 million, or he stays. We aren't as knackered financially as we were a few years back.

We heard at work Grimsby fans were banned from Wetherspoons in Cleethorpes as it was full of Utd fans, so a nutter at work who does 6 - 6 got a half day holiday and left at 12 so he could go down to Wetherspoons for a fight.

Yeah we'd heard rumours on Thursday that a lot of Utd fans were gonna kick off in retalliation for the Grimsby fans that smashed up part of Sheffield train station when we played Alfreton in 2015.

We are currently losing 2-0 to Barnet, no word on whether it's kicking off because of them being cheeky to us on the way back from Stevenage in 2014.

Lost 2 nill to a very strong and well drilled Derby side. Tom Ince was fantastic TBH, we were quite flat but they were also very good defensively.

We lost 3-1 to Woking. Pretty dire and I doubt the triallists will be playing pro football for long.

Drew 0-0 at Orient. We were absolute toilet yet again by all accounts which comes as no surprise as we barely have a squad.

Not looking forward to this new season at all.

Lost 2-0 to Hull, created a lot of chances but couldn't finish them.

0-0 with Wolves. By all accounts we played some nice stuff but not a lot of cutting edge in the final third. Seems to be the pattern from our friendlies so far. Credible effort against a good team though.

Pretty decent. Jerome Thomas looks a great signing. Nathan Tyson on trial up front looked sharp too, hope we take him on.

Could have been a cricket score to be honest, don't know what your keeper was doing for our goal either! :ffs:

Lost 5-1 to Swansea, who looked very sharp. Andre Ayew's free kick opener was superb.

Unfortunately we shipped four goals in the first half when we were trialling a 4-3-3 with midfielders who won't be anywhere near our starting XI on the opening day. Swansea carved through us at will during that period and our teenage centre half Alfie Kilgour didn't know what had hit him.

Better in the second half when we went 4-4-2 - Luke James played well and scored a good goal.

That's about it.
