And its preseason so it doesn't matter who they put out, You could beat barcalona and still have a shit season.

Can people stop getting carried away and stop trying to make your teams sound so good by exaggerating just how good the other team was... Its preseason and a lot of players don't care.

Get a grip, ffs. Mansfield Town. Wow. This season is going to be fantastic, I see.

We lost 2-1 at Bath last night. Cue panic amongst our fan base as we've played 2 Conference South teams and lost them both.

If Bath played anything like Weston they were far more up for it and not experimenting half as much, we did well to come away from that one with a win.

Beat a strong MK Dons side 2-0 tonight thanks to two Marc McNulty pens. Played well from the sounds of things.

We've got the Gas whose supporters will get the joys of the Wet Terrace on a blustery day of showers. Friendly Little Club on the Hill etc. Good view though.

Oh no. The Gas don't like getting wet. They'll be after refunds or a gold sovereign each in compo

0-0 at Halifax. The Twitter updates suggest it wasn't a great game. Just the one trialist left, Sam Cosgrove - a tall forward from Wigan.

Looking increasingly likely we'll be starting the new season with just Hope and Miller up front (possibly Cosgrove but he won't score the goals we're missing).

One final test for us, Blackburn at home next Friday.

Well that was a pretty tidy win. Cracking free kick from Noble early doors then Mullings with a peach of a header second half into the top corner. Controlled good chunks of play too. No idea how strong a Bristol side that was, but didn't offer a great deal.

Fairly straightforward pre-season for us so far, with five wins from five and no goals conceded. 2-0 away at Maldon & Tiptree, 4-0 away at Needham Market, 1-0 at Llandudno, 2-0 against a West Ham XI and a 3-0 win at Braintree today.

No real tests yet of course though, with our annual defeat at home to Ipswich pending on Tuesday night. Then we have Gillingham on Friday to round things off.

Lost 3-2 against Peterborough. Decent workout and unlucky to lose.

We struggled first half playing 4-4-2 against their 3-4-3 and were outnumbered all the way through the centre of the pitch, although they scored with their first two shots.

Second half we went 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3 and it worked much better. Gave them more to think about and stopped them playing through us whilst giving us more options, creating much more.

Didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know. Long isn't good enough as a first choice RB, Knott, whilst looking better than during his loan spell, struggles in a midfield 2 and looks much better in a 3 and JMD has already nailed down his place on one of the wings. Needs a bit of work off the ball but he's got a corker of a left foot from open play and set piece deliveries.

Dicked 4-0 at home by forest. Didn't expect that. Some pretty poor performances, still sound light upfront. Also sounded like forest were pretty superb though

Still, hopefully more will be learnt from that than gong to some park side in the conference and winning 6-0.

Still, I was at Trent bridge to see Notts beat Northamptonshire in the 20/20

I was there today and it wasn't great. That is putting it mildly.

Etuhu is atrocious, there's obviously ability there but boy is he lazy! I don't know if he thinks dropping down a league will mean he can just have an easy ride, but he won't last long if performances like that continue.

The defence is what it is, we're going to concede goals against good sides that's for sure but Parkes and Bonham may slightlu improve that side of things, I hope.

My main concern is scoring goals. I simply don't see us scoring enough. It's been a worry all summer for me and today highlighted it. We've lost 30+ goals from our team witn Wyke and Ibehre going over past 6 months. Have we replaced them? Have we bollocks! Hope is a good player but not going to even get double figures. Neither will Shaun Miller. The trialists isn't the answer either, I thought Deon Moore looked better than him.

We were utterly toothless today. I don't see us scoring enough goals to challenge top half of the league. Unless we sign a very good striker over the next month or so, we're going to be in a relegation scrap.

Youth team so doesn't count, still won every pre season game so far, far too easy this friendly lark.

We put a random side out and lost 4-0 to Stoke ressies at St George's Park @ Burton. First half was a fairly decent midfield and attack with kids at back and we got torn to bits. Second half was vice versa and they battered us again

Has anyone taken that competition seriously this year? Lincs FA will be after handing fines out left, right and centre!

Scunny played the kids against Grimsby, Grimsby played the kids against Boston, Lincoln played the kids against Gainsborough.

Drew 1-1 away at Bury, Brad Walker early for us and Jermaine Beckford for them late on.

Decent work out vs a Bury team with some decent names playing for them.

We beat Frome Town 2-1, goals from Nathan Smith and Rhys Browne, with Olomola missing a pen. Very poor first half with the defence looking shaky at best, and only Khan offering anything going forward. Second half completely different with Jake Gray and trialist Alefe Santos coming on and providing some much needed creativity.

Scunny have the best excuse of the lot of us though as they were in Austria at the time!
