Couple of trialists set to play second half, Elliott Kebbie and Mike Fondop-Talom. Kebbie is a right-back who seems to get around a bit. Can't find much at all on Fondop-Talom.

Good to see our lads getting on and forming that team spirit that's paramount when there has been a large turnover in players over the summer!! Old vs Young rounders on the beach apparently according to Evo... Obviously the old uns won!

I hear Barthram looked pretty good. He sounds like he could be a solid signing. Also really nice to see Brunt get a run out after being out for so long.

Ollie Watkins wasn't in the squad tonight which will cause some to assume that means he's off...Wheeler didn't play either but he was at the game, which is more encouraging!

Yep, after the game Tis said:
"David Wheeler, Lee Holmes and Dean Moxey were all missing tonight because of niggles, but that's a case of being careful with them I suppose more than anything else".

Obviously no mention as to why Ollie wasn't playing, whether that was deliberate who knows. It was reported yesterday on Sky Sports that we're currently in talks with Brentford so I'd expect he was left out, which is sensible if negotiations are taking place.

Yep apparently is exactly right because I haven't heard any official news about teams or much else other than JMD crossed well for Matt Rhead to head home. The first of many hopefully, JMD returning the compliment after a Matt Rhead assist against Benfica B.

Not popular the village green boys for whatever reason.
Only 19 and got 15 goals for Dagenham on loan there last season. 3 of them were on their goal of the season shortlist.
Heard lots of good things about him, looking to seeing him on the 29th when we play Walsall in Lee Beevers testimonial.
Another bright young teen Regan Booty (what a name!) is meant to be joining us too on loan from Huddersfield. Skippers their u-23 side and was on the bench for senior side at the end of the season. Have family who are Huddersfield fans and they say he's a cracking player.
