Finished 6-0 to Sutton. 2nd half goals from new signing Alistair Smith, Donovan Wilson and Ben Goodliffe completed a comfortable enough performance for Sutton.

Saw some of the game on (fast forward) youtube. It looked like men against boys.

Friday night game

Alfreton 1-2 Mansfield (mostly fringe players as we have a game at Hull on Saturday.)

I think a good few hundred will be present despite having to pay £16 and you lot getting in for nothing.
Your pubs and bars will be full...... As for the game..mainly playing players who have had no minutes or little game time so far. Gilks, Brockbank,Thomason, Darcy,Doyle will all start...........Biggest cheer of the day will be for Politic back after being out for 12 months.

Thomason should enjoy it being a son of the town

I looked into what the crack was with the Blackpool covid situation given we're playing them today, their fans seem a bit more in the know.

Three players tested positive but apparently they still had enough players who can't have been in close contact with those three that they could have played Rangers, it was Rangers' decision to call it off.

Evatt has named a better team than i thought....A couple of experiments Brockbank playing alongside Baptiste at centre half
Doyle first run out of the pre season, but the biggest cheer will be when Dennis Politic comes on.

Blackburn dominated the opening stages of the first half. Harry Chapman looks a decent player - whinging get, though. They tailed off abit after we scored. Thought they had an old boy at RB, turns out he’s only 23 - hard paper-round lad?
