Unless there’s any direct proof it happened it’s best both clubs move on and draw a line in the sand. Seemed a decent workout for both teams and better to play it as a proper match than a meaningless tappy tappy game

We beat Oxford 1-0 tonight and played rather well at times although what you can deduce when you basically substitute the whole team over the match I'm not sure. Still, a win before the serious stuff starts.

Oh, and our home strip is as bad as the pictures portray it.

Our second string drew 2-2 with Taunton last night, we made a few odd substations and gifted them a draw. Most disturbingly though, the bar ran out of beer and I had to drink cans of Tetley.
Last friendly today at Bristol Rovers, should be a good test of where we are.

We got a morale boosting 0-1 away win against the Scunts at GP. First clean sheet in pre season which is very pleasing. Sounds like we deserved the win.

Beat Rotherham 2-1, that’s Sheff Utd/Weds and Derby winning three drawing one now.

Wish I could take something out of that, but pre-season don’t show a sign of things to come IMO.
