I can only go on what's in the public domain - other teams have reported on their bcd friendlies.

Who is the right winger with his socks pulled down? He's taking the piss out of them all. 2019/20 League 2 Champions.
Harry McKirdy, 22 year old signed following his release by Villa. He's been our player of pre-season so far. Spent last season on loan at Newport but think he was a bit of a fringe player there because I'd never heard his name before, same with previous spells at Crewe and Stevenage.

With Nathan Thomas signing, there should be some healthy competition for the right-wing slot.

Our U18s lost a sort of PSF last night - Exmouth Town 1 Exeter City 0.
Hope this doesn't count?

Bury are playing what could be their last ever game at Vale on Saturday, very sad if so but has been coming.

Would also mean Vale were their last ever competitive game also being the last game of the season!

Turns out tonight's game vs Marine wasn't a youth team after all and we played our first team. Won 4-0, goals from Alessandra, O'Sullivan, Jagne and Ellison.

A mix of fringe players and young’uns drew 2-2 at Taunton Town tonight.

A few players had an opportunity to impress MT to have a chance of starting the first game, but apparently no one really stood out.

Final friendly on Saturday away at Torquay, which will probably be as close to the first choice starting lineup as we can get.

Beat MK Dons 2-1 to round off preseason, local reporter said it flattered MK as it could and should have been 5. Going up.

We play our final friendly at home to Lincoln today. The team we put out today will be the team we start against Swindon with barring any injuries

We play our final friendly away to Ross County

!!!

Not sure how we'll line up. Whether Pressley will want to get as close as possible to next week's starting line-up or whether he'll want to see the triallists in a proper match between senior squads (instead of towards the end when it was mostly kids as was on Tuesday) and whether players carrying knocks (Iredale, Hope and Kerr) will be risked at all.

He has said he wants to get some players playing the full 90 minutes or close to that, which could mean if he does bring triallists on in the second half, they'll still be playing with other senior players.

Bury today, looks bleak for them and seem to be full of trialists oddly one being Anthony Kay who was with us the past two years and just released.

Hopefully it isn’t the last time they play a football match.

Good game to have V Cov as a final warm up. Would have been nice to get a striker in but not the end of the world. Expect Coventry to have a decent season so will be a tough one. No injuries please.

Away at Rochdale - should be a decent test for them.

Wrexham away for us.id expect us to treat it as a competitive game and not make many changes. Will be a good test against a physical team in not great weather conditions.

Bath for us today. Triallist in goal, if he impresses he'll probably start next week.

Adam Smith seems to have been a total bust of a signing, seems on his way out already lol.

His preseason really been that bad?

A bit unconvincing, looks rusty having been on the bench all season at the Gas.

Main problem has been distribution though, we play out from the back a lot and need a keeper very comfortable on the ball, which he hasn't looked. Also seemed to ignore our gk coach's instructions during second half of Wednesday's game.

Might be reading a bit too much into it, but him not starting either on Wednesday when we played a youngster in our first half team, or today when we're playing a triallist, doesn't bode well given you'd want to see a new no.1 getting some proper playing time at this point to build up some rapport with the defence. Not even on the bench today.

Starting lineup against Ross from Friends.

___________________Collin (c)________________
Elliot_____Webster_______NKP______Mellish
_____Scougall ______Jones_______Bridge____
__McKirdy______K.Thomas_____N.Thomas__

Nathan Thomas comes into the starting line-up for Josh Galloway. Assuming it's just like-for-like, though I could have sworn Nathan Thomas was a right-sided player. Jack Iredale returns to the squad and goes on the bench, which I imagine is just because of his previous knock. Lewis Brunt is nowhere to be seen, so could potentially have been pied off back to Villa. We only have 7 subs named, with Iredale being the only senior contracted outfield player there. No sending a whole team of academy players on after 60 minutes then, the two academy players who are in the squad, Galloway and Charters may well be given a chance here to take a step towards the first-team squad.

My guess is that second half, Iredale will get his chance for Mellish while the over-30's Webster and Jones will make way for triallists Hayden and Sagaf. Ideally the lineup will then carry on with just those changes to give Pressley the 90 minutes he wants to see as well as giving the triallists the opportunity to perform in a senior setting. Maybe it won't be till the 75th or 80th minute that we see Charters, Galloway and Branthwaite on.
