We have been dreadful since Xmas though, that's my point. To be fair to yourselves, Leeds and Bolton you haven't collapsed 3 seasons running from very, very good positions. I probably wouldn't mind as much if we'd flirted around 6th all season but to go top with the start we had and then turn in to the shower we have been recently is unacceptable.

It's the one extreme to the other that I can't accept.

If we play anything like we have been doing recently down at your place in a couple of weeks then you might be able to comprehend why so many of us are so pessimistic at the moment. I actually thought it might just be us lot on here rubbing off on each other but a quick look at our forum shows it's a fair old few that feel this way.

Re. Your final paragraph. I really hope my comments come back to bite me in the arse and you really are as dreadful as you say on that day :bg:

There is absolutely no chance of promotion, and you'll see exactly why come the game at your place in a few weeks. I will expect an apology. ;)

The mighty Rams!!!
Plenty of games left yet. Not over until the maths prove it. Is looking likely that the top 6 now will remain for a few weeks at least.

Playoffs confirmed for those c***. Top 2 is 2 out of 4 and more than likely derby for Playoffs too. Let's just hope they fuck it up but more than likely they won't

Looks increasingly like two from three for automatic; even if Hull win their game in hand they're still four points off.

We're done, it's looked like it for a while and tonight has confirmed it. Can't see any of the current top six dropping out now.

Come on mate, dry your eyes, think it would be nice for Sheffield to have a top flight team again.....

Even the most optimistic of Blues fans has now finally had to admit we've blown our slim chance, our form the last couple of months has made Derby look like a reliable team!!! It's lucky we had such a strong start as we're free falling now.

Out of the teams in the hunt I'd like to see Boro up to lose a shit away day, Hull because I'd hate to see 'wor Brucie go the Villa, and Sheffield Wednesday for playing the best football I've personally seen this season.

If Wednesday do go up does Jose abandon the away travel thread? He'll not get the levels of interest from the fanboy Prem fans, if it's not "is Klopp better than LVG?" "is Henderson the new Gerrard?" They're not interested.

I'll stick about for the away day figures pal, the PL is boring on that front.

What the hell is going on with our fucking goal drought. All done for us, and I fear what the summer might bring, too.

Derby fans tip over the edge of all out pessimism, and they go and beat Hull 4-0

It's rare for the Championship to be cut and dried as it currently looks. 2 from 3 for automatic, top 6 with a cushion, bottom 3 somewhat adrift. Strange. Sure there's a twist in the tale somewhere to come.

11 points behind with 18 to play... The playoff train has left without us....

Think of the City and the benefits......it makes sense.

Behave yourself. Imagine the roles reversed. One thing I wouldn't mind though is playing each other in the top flight as that's something I've never seen but I certainly don't want you to go up to benefit fucking Sheffield while we're mid table in the 3rd tier

It left a while back, we would have needed something like 6 wins out of 7 before last night and hoped 4 or 5 teams had a wobble.

Just need to finish as high as possible, a top 10 finish in our first season back would be a great result, just hope we don't end these final six games with a poor run.

Sorry can't resist, it would be the biggest gap between the clubs since the late 80s.

You couldn't write it.

It'll take a lot more than one good performance to get us back on track though so a bit of waiting out to do... last night was very promising non the least.

Who's going to catch you? It's only really Cardiff left in the hunt and I can't see them catching you.

They are exactly who will catch us. We'll hopefully beat Bolton on Saturday, but then we've got 5 tough games to finish off with. Charlton and Bristol City are away, so they're write-offs. As is Brighton away. Leaves us with Wednesday and Ipswich at home. Don't see a win from either of those.
